    [gb]Q&A:[/gb]

    What is Divinity II?
Divinity II – Ego Draconis is a ground breaking, story-based action role playing game that combines a truly stunning, free roaming world just waiting to be explored, with exhilarating aerial and ground based combat.

    Why Ego Draconis?
Ego Draconis refers to the alternative form you have when shape-shifting: the ability to shift from human to Dragon and back again!

When will the game be released?
    Late summer 2009.

What formats will it be on?
Divinity II will be released on both PC and Xbox 360.

Why do you refer to ‘multifaceted’ quests?
Divinity II features a unique quest system that boasts multiple ways to solve the missions you are sent on. The moral choices you make drive your own story forward, and you can see the consequences of your actions. The material gains from each quest will depend on the choices you make – sometimes playing nice isn’t always the most profitable solution!

How many hours will it take to complete Divinity II?
This depends on how thoroughly you play the game of course, but we estimate the game will take between 40 and 60 hours to complete.

    How does the shape-shifting work?
Once the player has truly unlocked the power of the Dragon, he or she can take the Dragon form at will in areas that suit this mighty avatar, such as of course the outdoors, but also large caves.

Can I reach locations as a Dragon that I cannot as a human?
Yes, there are many interesting places that you can only reach by air, and flying allows you to explore the world from a much better vantage point and at a higher speed than on foot. But being such a big visible target does have its own innate disadvantages…

What can a human do that a Dragon can’t?
Explore dungeons for a start! Your dragon form is way too massive to fit down those deep and dark catacombs, so it’s up to you and your trusty two feet to take on the denizens of the dark, and loot their hidden treasure!

How does Divinity II relate to the previous games? Do you need to have played them?
Divinity II follows the storyline from the original games, and there are some cool little nods to the classic games for fans, but you do not need to have played any Divinity games in order to enjoy Ego Draconis!

Is the world seamless, or am I limited to a set route?
The Divinity II world is seamless, although at times you are restricted within a certain area due to story requirements, but most of the time you are free to explore.

Can I upgrade my character as well as my Dragon?
Yes, both your human and your Dragon form will simultaneously gain levels and abilities through experience points.

What special tactics should I use when fighting dragons?
Every player will form their own dragon combat tactics and we will discuss these in more detail soon!

    How does Dragon combat work?
More details soon, but for now, imagine that you will be controlling an awe-inspiring flying creature that can unleash fiery wrath upon its enemies. You will need to deal with both static and aerial targets from all directions…

What skills can I customize my Dragon with?
Your Dragon form gains levels like your human character does, and as such will gain attribute points, but skills have to be learnt in a very different way!

Are there different skills sets for Dragons?
Yes, choosing different skills allow you to take different approaches to dragon combat. It’s all up to the player to take the road that suits him or her best.

    What are Flying Fortresses?
Flying Fortresses are the massive siege tools used by the Black Ring armies commanded by Damian. They consist of floating islands on which ballistae and lightning towers have been built, and where nest towers bring forth endless hordes of undead drakes and vicious Demons. Hovering monstrosities, it takes but one of these Fortresses to annihilate and entire city.

How do Flying Fortresses affect the gameplay?
They are the ultimate test for your Dragon to pass and as such the ultimate playground for aerial combat. You’ll have to dodge, fire and destroy as you figure out the Fortresses’ weak points and combine your human and Dragon form to take out their structures and ultimately vanquish the commanders that control them.

No offence though! <3
