Challenge update - 6/19/2008
All the loose ends are tied up... the Old Spice Experience Challenge known as XboxWorld.nl Challenge #01 is over and the winner is SjaccoPopino racking up a final total of 1,240 points in 3 days!
On the final day, the 10 challengers put up a total of 1210 points. SjaccoPopino added 460, OpticonNL added 225, Probydoby added 220, DulleNL added 150, Atmaxar added 50, Spaulding ST added 40, Melted Forest added 30, Ypuh added 25, and Nukeshell NL added 10. There can be only one first place... but thanks goes out to the other 9 for being good rivals.

Zow, de hele challenge gemist. Ben net terug uit Deutschland!

 

In de eindstand was de strijd om de 2e plek spannend, maar in dat leaderboard-dingetje sta ik toch behoorlijk comfortabel op de 2e plek.
Hoe kan dat?

 

LOL! Ik vond t al raar dat je helemaal niet speelde die drie dagen! Volgende keer wel ff je agenda checken he !

Op pagina 3 heb ik de puntentelling voor het leaderboard uitgelegd, maar hier voor jou nog een keer !

The winner of any challenge will get a score based on the number of people in the challenge and the duration. Their overall challenge score is a total of their score over all challenges. Second and third place also receive a percentage of the score.

How is the score determined?
Only the number of individuals in a challenge and the duration effect the score. Below is how to determine the number of points that you could win in a challenge.

First, take the number of folks in the challenge, each person is worth ten points. So if you have 5 people that is 50 points, or 22 that is 220. That creates the base score.

Duration adds a multiplier to that score, the mulitpliers are below.

3 day challenge: .5x multiplier
5 day challenge: 1x multiplier
7 day challenge: 1x multiplier
14 day challenge: 2x multiplier
30 day challenge: 5x multiplier
60 day challenge: 10x multiplier

Example of final scoring:

A 3 day challenge with 5 people: (50 x .5) = 25 points for the winner
A 7 day challenge with 3 people: (30 x 1) = 30 points for the winner
A 30 day challenge with 10 people: (100 x 5) = 500 points for the winner

Depending on the number of people in the challenge, points are also given for second and third place:

1-4 people: No 2nd and 3rd place points.
5-9 people: 2nd place wins 25% of the bounty
10+ people: 2nd place wins 50% of the bounty. 3rd place wins 25% of the bounty

Je ziet dus dat bij 10 personen of meer, naast de nummer 2 ook de nummer 3 punten krijgt! Die krijgt echter maar 25% van de punten, terwijl de nummer 2 50% krijgt!
Volgende keer doen we ook een 7 daagse challenge, dan is de multiplier tenminste gewoon 1 ipv 0.5!
