Als je een amerikaanse sportsfan bent dan is ESPN het mekka. De integratie brengt heel veel met zich mee... Radio podcasts, een actuele newsticker, gewoon een erg gelikte presentatie en nog veel meer zaken.. Commentatoren zijn gewoon net als voorgaande jaren Marv Albert en Steve Kerr als ik het goed heb.. ESPN is voor mij een van de belangrijkste redenen om deze game te kiezen. Even een stukje over ESPN integration van een interview met IGN om een beeld te geven wat het met zich meebrengt:

The ESPN zone also features ESPN Motion, which delivers video streaming from recent ESPN broadcasts that you can watch and listen to directly from your console.
Finally, ESPN News contains a lot of text and image-based information that you can browse through for any articles of interest that you may want to read about.
All this can be delivered to your console in a custom way if you specify on what your favorite NBA Team is. It is absolutely mind-blowing, and we are extremely proud of being able to offer this to our fans this year.

NBA Live heeft met 2006 wat teleurgesteld maar heeft gewoon iets degelijks neergezet voor de daarop volgende jaren, waar 2k gewoon voort borduurt op de voorgaande games...
Een quote uit de review van 1UP van Live 06, iets waar ik me totaal bij aansluit.
