"Today, EBGames started to take pre-orders for the three editions of Halo 3, revealing also the prices of the three flavors of Halo 3.

The regular edition has a retail price of $59.99, which doesn't come as a surprise after Gears of War became the first Microsoft Game Studios game to sell for 60 bucks. The next one is Collector's Edition, for which EBGames has no info yet on the material included but it does has a price: $69.99.

Finally, the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, which comes packed into a Halo Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI Helmet replica will sell for $99.99.

Dus 1 november 2007 is het pas zover nog een jaar wachten(als de release date ook echt klopt)
En misschien wordt ie net zoals halo 2 ook nog is uitgesteld maar daar gaan we natuurlijk niet van uit.

 

EBgames gokt altijd op een datum "1 novemver" lijkt hun save

De prijs van de pre-order is wel bijzonder te noemen. Voor de Halo 3 Legendary pack welke een replica is van de Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI Helm betaal je al snel $100 (in Nederland dus 100 Euro). Ik vraag me af of ik zoveel geld over heb voor een spel? Ik vrees het wel, want wie wilt nu niet zo'n helm in de huiskamer hebben staan (op mijn vrouw na natuurlijk).

En ik. Geef mij maar gewoon een doosje. Zo'n helm zou ik toch ergens in de hoek neerzetten.

 

jammer dat de spartan laser toch homing is, dat vind ik toch erg zuur.

zal reuze meevalle sinds deze scans de zelfde screens bevat als de screens uit het zweedse magazine, gelukkig zijn deze op veeel grotere resolutie, dus je kunt beter kijke wat er allemaal in zit enso

ik moet zegge, het geeft me echt wel een H1 gevoeld , ik moet denke aan het level Halo uit het eerste deel *cry for happiness*

dat de spartanbeam geleid is, zegt me dat dit wapen dus niet aan mn verwachtinge voldoet, helaas, het had veel potentie

 

Hoe is dat magazine uberhaupt gekomen aan die scans?

RUMOR: Halo³ demo coming early Next Year

We’re titling this as a rumor, but even so, sources have revealed to Game Informer Online that there will be a Halo 3 demo released over Xbox Live in the first half of 2007. Obviously Microsoft hasn’t revealed any details yet, but we wouldn’t be too surprised if something was dropped in the second or third week of November. You know, just to mess a bit with the PlayStation 3 and Wii launches.

Is it shocking that Microsoft would release a Halo 3 demo? Not so much. Is it surprising that they’d announce the first details to mess with Sony and Nintendo? Not at all.

The big question is, will the Halo 3 demo be the first demo that Microsoft will charge for? We’re also putting our money on that, too. If there’s one game that Xbox 360 owners are waiting for it’s Halo 3, and regardless of how much or how little the demo consists of, Microsoft could charge and no one would really care.

wist ik al een tijdje, als het aan microsoft ligt JA
als het aan bungie ligt duidelijk NEE, (en dan bedoel ik release van de demo, niet dat er een prijs op komt)

maar we zulle zien, hopelijk wel, maar dan een MP demo, geen SP aub

 

Gewoon allebei net als bij die Prey demo kunnen ook silver abo's genieten van Halo 3. En zo'n legendary edition is nutteloos.

 

Lijkt me niet slim als ze dit jaar al met een demo komen, laat ze die demo maar droppen als het spel dan ook echt bijna af is.

 

Helemaal niet, het is een cadeautje, iets extra's voor de liefhebber/fan/verzamelaar. Ik zou hem graag willen, als hij niet 100 dollar kostte.

De Limited Edition, lijkt mij wel leuk. Aangezien deze ook gewoon voor een prijs van rond de 60/70 euro wordt aangeboden lijkt mij?
