De HDTV thread [Deel 15]

Gewoon gaan onderhandelen. Niet meteen akkoord gaan met de prijs. Ook bij de MM kun je volgens mij goed onderhandelen.

 

Ik zal even zien ben eigenlijk ook niet van plan vandaag een nieuwe TV te hale maar als het kan doe ik het wel... Als het mogelijk is wil ik toch wel die bravia actie.. Alleen als het me toch te duur wordt heb ik altijd die samsung nog.

Later op de middag post ik wel wat ik gedaan heb, ikga rond 1 uur wel ff kijke. (heb toch vrij )

 

De 40W2000 is een oud model Bravia die niet meer geproduceerd wordt. De opvolger is de 40V3000 (zelfde bravia engine), deze koop je al voor 1800 (incl ps3 actie). Daarnaast is de W serie nieuw leven ingeblazen met de 40W3000. Deze tv heeft de Bravia engine uit de oude X serie. En dan is de 40x3500 en dat is de nieuwste X met de Bravia engine pro. I heb zelf de 40V3000.

 

Hmm, ik heb even op vergelijk gekeken en nou'ja de prijzen waren nie teens rond 1800,-. Zelf denk ik dat ik gewoon even ga kijke en dan wel zie wat ik doe.

 

Zover ik weet is de V3000 een doorontwikkeling van de X2000 en niet van de W2000. De V3000 heeft daarom ook een betere engine als de W2000.

En ik wacht nogsteeds op mijn V3000, terwijl ik hem ruim een maand geleden heb besteld en hij hier en daar gewoon in winkels te koop is? Grrrrrrr....

 

De W3000 is een doorontwikkeling van de X2000 en heeft dan ook de Bravia Engine EX. De V3000 bevat de Bravia Engine uit de W2000. Verder wel een veel beter paneel dan de W2000 overigens.

 

Aha, I stand corrected. Nou ik mag hem vanavond ophalen hoor ik net, dus we gaan het wel zien. Mijn Toshiba HD-XE1 speler eraan hangen en dan hopelijk genieten

Haha dat kan ik proberen, maar niet beloven! Zal kijken wat ik kan doen.

Ik zit midden in een verbouwing, maandag komt de keuken en voor die tijd moeten alle tegels die we hebben gelegd nog worden schoongemaakt, voegen erin gesmeerd, gipsplaten opgehangen worden en leidingwerk aangepast worden.

P.s. 2x hd-dvd addon besteld. 1 voor mijn ouders *wink* en 1 voor mezelf. Eens kijken welke 10 HD-DVD's ik erbij ga uitzoeken

Heb nog geen reactie op mijn mail die ik heb gestuurd naar aanleiding van de adreswisseling (actieformulier). Maar ik hoop dat het gewoon goed afgehandeld wordt.

 

Ga daar maar wel vanuit hoor.
Dat ze nu naar Duitsland zijn geswitchd zal er misschien mee te maken hebben dat daar de actie nu ook loopt ofzo, en dat het logistiek makkelijker/goedkoper is voor Toshiba / Microsoft om de films naar NL te krijgen.. Zal verder jouw aanvraag niet beinvloeden mag ik hopen!

 

Ik hoop het ook niet. Maar heb er alle vertrouwen in dat het netjes wordt afgehandeld.

 

Hij zal niet tegenvallen. Echt een geweldig apparaat.

 

Ik heb eind september de Samsung LE37M86BD in huis gehaald, en ben helemaal tevreden. Ik heb hem toentertijd voor € 1350,- meegekregen. De 360 gaat over component, en ziet er prachtig uit. Sinds gister ben ik ook in het bezit van een PS3, en dat ziet er helemaal prachtig uit @ 1080p (zowel games als blu-ray films).

Enige nadeel vind ik dat hij geen 1080p signaal over component lust. Ik heb xbox 360 over een vga kabel gehad op een resolutie van 1920x1080, maar ik vond dit er echt een stuk minder eruit zien dan component @ 720p. Kleuren ogen gewoon een stuk fletser over vga, en over component mooi vol zoals het hoort in games! Kwestie van wachten totdat de hdmi kabel voor iedere 360 uitkomt, zodat de 360 eveneens @ 1080p over hdmi kan (Le37M86BD heeft 3 hdmi poorten).

 

Jesuuuus wat is die mediamarkt duur -_-

Ik ben nu dus ook van plan die LE37M86BD te halen omdat die best wel goedkoop is en ook full-hd is.

Service Menu Options:

Ok, the first stop is the Service menu. Now alot of people will tell you not to enter this menu as it will void your warranty, so this is your call. I personally have found that disabling Dynamic Dimming stopped a banding issue I was having, most noticeable in dark scenes. It also stopped the backlight changing levels too slowly when moving from dark scenes to bright scenes. Backup any settings you change, incase you need to restore them.. Be very careful many people press things without realising what they are doing and it is possible to ruin your TVs settings.

To enter the Service Menu, key in the following button combination in sequential order, not holding them down, tap one, then a very short pause, then the next, while the TV is in standby:

INFO + MENU + MUTE + POWER

Now adjust the following settings ONLY in the Adjust menu option:

Dynamic Dimming: Off (This stops the screen flickering when it changes from dark to light scenes quickly and vice versa)
Dynamic Contrast: On
Dynamic CE: Off

Press Power to Exit and save settings, leave it a second and power back on.

For Xbox 360, in the May 2007 Dash Update, they introduced a new setting called "Reference Levels", this is essentially a Gamma fix for the washed out VGA. It helps alot that Microsoft have introduced the fix at their end, helps us with calibration at this end.

Auto Adjusting Samsung R8 to Xbox 360 at 1360x768p via VGA.

Firstly you need the following calibration image:

1: Jpg_image

2: Rar_file

3: Zip_file

This image is exactly 1360x768 and contains the necessary curves and lines for your R8 Samsung to auto adjust to, to give a sharp, clear picture.

The easiest way to view the image on your TV is to put it on a USB Stick or Hard-drive or similar device and then plug that into the USB port on the front of your Xbox 360 and then view the image from the picture viewer, selecting the USB device and navigating to the correct location.

You can also share over a network, There is a brilliant guide here. When you have added your image to your library within WMP11 or Zune Software, browse to the image via the COMPUTER share on your Xbox 360.

Auto Adjusting.
Now with the image on screen, make sure any xbox 360 GUI features have faded out, this includes any info panels across the top or the control panel. On your TV remote, press MENU, then go down to the 4th option and choose PC. Here there will be an option to auto adjust. When you press Auto Adjust your screen will go black for a few seconds, do not press anything until it comes back on.

You should now have the sharpest possible image from 360 you can get with this TV. Enjoy.

Firstly you MUST be using HDMI Port 2 for the Optimal Resolution setting to appear. HDMI allows the image to be 1:1 Pixel mapped. 720p and 1080i appear over-scanned (edges cut off) and the image suffers from jaggie lines, these issues are solved by using the optimal resolution of 1360x768, the native resolution of your TV.

I found that Black adjust and HDMI black level made it too dark - there was no depth to the blacks. As for the PC, there is as far as I know, no image processing being applied to the video signal. The video card is a Nvidia 6200 shoving it all out over DVI.

Zolang jij de oude Premium hebt zul je nóóit via HDMI kunnen gamen op je Xbox. Die heeft namelijk geen digitale videosignaal. Je zult dus een nieuwe Xbox360 moeten kopen om via HDMI te kunnen gamen.

 

Ach ik heb liever scherper beeld dan meer kleur. Zolang ik niet weet hoe de xbox op HDMI eruit ziet zal ik het ook niet missen.

 

HDMI geeft ook geen bijster groot verschil hoor. Het enige voordeel is dat je te maken hebt met één kabel waardoor alles gaat..ipv 5 losse kabeltjes zoals Component.

 

Net een Monster kabel voor m'n 360 binnen gehad.
Ben benieuwd naar het verschil.
