NPD cijfers:
The May NPD numbers for videogame hardware and software sales are in, and this month holds a couple of surprises. First and foremost for hardware, as analysts predicted, Grand Theft Auto IV's release did not lead to a major increase in sales for either the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360. While the PS3 received a nice bump from last month, the 360's sales actually dropped a tiny amount along with almost all of the other systems. Here's the full damage report:
