Ongunstig voor ons. Omdat ie dan samen met veel andere toppers uitkomt. Ongunstig voor mijn beurs dus. Ik verwacht niet dat de releasedate zoveel verschilt met die van Europa hoor. Ook hier komt ie denk ik in oktober/november uit.

June 2, 2009 - We've made no secret of our enthusiasm for Activision's DJ entry in its evergreen "Hero" franchise. DJ Hero sounds and looks fantastic, loaded with exclusive remixes and mash-ups of popular songs that you won't hear anywhere else. Today we got to spend a little more time with the game behind closed doors at Activision's E3 booth and can confirm that it is still awesome. We also got to check out a new mix we hadn't heard before: Eminem's "My Name Is" vs. Jay-Z's "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)." It was hawt. There's a bunch of dance music, rock, and electronica in the game but this is a cut of laid back, straight hip-hop. The guys at developer FreeStyle played Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" vs. Rick James' "Give It To Me" again for us. This is one of the most fun mixes we've heard, but since this won't be an M-rated game the famous "this sh*t is bananas!" phrase has been altered a bit. A sample has replaced the word in question so that it goes "your DJ is bananas!" We haven't heard it, yet, but we're told there's also a choice mix of Rihanna and Motorhead. DJ Hero has quite a wide variety of music and Activision realizes hip-hop fans might want to jump right into the hip-hop while electronica fans might not want to have to slog through the rock tunes. For this reason, 60 percent of the game's songs will be unlocked from the beginning. The celebrity-created tracks by folks like DJ Shadow will have to be earned, though. Rating and scoring is done very similarly to Guitar Hero. You earn stars and points for your performance and the game will grade your accuracy. After you've nailed enough combos you can rewind the song to play a portion over again (something Guitar Hero can't do), giving an opportunity to either replay something you botched or just earn extra points. The rewind is kind of automatic, in that it will keep the overall track in time. No need to worry about messing up your groove, just give the record a good backwards spin. We've already described how the turntable and mixer peripherals work, but today we noticed the Xbox 360's native controls are available on the mixer. Lift up a flap at the top and you'll find the familiar D-pad (our arch nemesis) and button diamond. Obviously, these controls will be tailored to each platform. They should make menu navigation easier and keep you from having to connect a controller in addition to the peripheral. When it's time to scratch, Xs (on lower difficulties) or arrows (on higher difficulties) will appear on the blue or green stream. The turntable peripheral only knows you're scratching if you hold down the correct colored button on the record face. Sometimes you'll notice certain notes have a glowing arch over them. These are opportunities to use effects for extra points, working much like the whammy bar in Guitar Hero. Two DJs can battle on or offline. But perhaps more interesting is the DJ vs. Guitar feature. The guys at FreeStyle gave a demonstration with a mash-up of Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" vs. Foo Fighters' "Monkey Wrench." Awesomeness ensued. As opposed to the DJ-only mixes where a lot of cutting and scratching is being done to both tracks, here the DJ cut up "Sabotage" while the guitarist played along with the straight instrumental version of "Monkey Wrench." This mode will boast 10 of its own mixes, just for DJs and guitarists to settle their differences. If there's an emcee around they can hook up a USB mic and rap along with the DJ, but there isn't any gameplay component for this so it will be a pure freestyle. The more we see of DJ Hero, the more excited we get. It's coming out in October but we'll be bugging Activision for more details on a daily basis until then.
Wat is er eigenlijk vet aan als ik vragen mag? 3 knoppen, een slider en een beetje gay-muziek wat je zelf nog eens verkr*cht ook. Nah, deze laat ik links liggen. Ik vond GH4 al een beetje mainstream, maar dat heeft GH:M weer goed gemaakt.
Oke.. je hebt het hier over 2 klassiekers, Sabotage van de Beastie Boys.. en Monkey Wrench van de Foo Fighters.. dus gay muziek? En ik vind die mix juist heerlijk! IK WIL DIT OP MP3!
Ik vind het er nog niet eens zo slecht uitzien. Anyway, ik wacht op reviews voordat ik er zoveel geld aan uit geef.
Deze ga ik ook niet aanschaffen. A: Heb mijn eigen set, voor het echte werk. B: Die controller moet je wel ergens voor je neer kunnen zetten op een tafeltje oid. Zou niet weten hoe ik die praktisch bij mij neer moet zetten en er lekker achter te kunnen spelen. C: Ik hou niet van het scratch-werk, ook irl niet, daarnaast is de tracklist niet bepaald mijn ding, voor zover ik gezien/gelezen heb. Met GH wil ik niet die softe, oude trage of mainstream nummers, die er in WT volop inzaten en als ik wil dj-en, wil ik techno of hardcore, electro of iig iets stevigs, maar niet dit. Zijn ongetwijfeld genoeg mensen die het wel aanspreekt en kan me dat ook wel voorstellen.
Zonde dat heel veel Dj's tegenwoordig gewoon standaard mixwerk (ene plaat in ander over laten lopen) doen maar echt scratchen en echt mixes hoor je nauwelijks.
Wat meer trance, dance, techno en electro music was inderdaad wel beter geweest. Maar neem aan dat er veel nummer te downloaden zijn na verloop van tijd. Voor personen die thuis niet eigen dj kunnen spelen en plaatjes kunnen mixen is dit dus ideaal. Je kan lekker oefenen en je hebt nog het idee dat je het kan ook. Ik hoop dat ze de balans van de moeilijkheidsgraad goed hebben. Bovenstaande geldt dus ook voor mij, en ik kijk echt uit na het spel. Al moet ik, zoals op de vorige pagina al opgemerkt is, nog wel een goed plekje voor dat "ding" zoeken...
Het ziet er opeens niet meer zo gemakkelijk uit. (het DJ gedeelte dan, die gast op de gitaar speelt opEasy) Beastie Boys zijn zo te zien veel meer geschikt voor DJ Hero dan voor Guitar Hero. Normaal gesproken kijk ik er iedere keer tegen op als ik een nummer van hun moet spelen.
Ook, maar die gameplayfilmpjes zagen er tov. Guitar Hero wel heel simpel uit.
