LucasArts and TT Games today announced that LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues will whip onto Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3 computer entertainment system, PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows in the Fall of 2009. Developed by the same team at Traveller’s Tales that created the award-winning LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and the LEGO Star Wars series, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 presents a tongue-in-cheek take on all four cinematic adventures of pop culture’s most iconic archaeologist, including for the first time ever Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and will give players the ability to create levels of their own!

SDCC 09: LEGO Indy 2 Progress Report 'And I think to myself... what a wonderful world.'​ July 20, 2009 - Traveller's Tales has really made a name for itself with the LEGO games, which take recognizable movies and morph them into family-friendly numbers that are great for co-op multiplayer. LEGO Indiana Jones was released last year and continued that tradition quite nicely, but LucasArts is ready to publish yet another Indy escapade in the form of LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. Riding in the wake of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 once again features everyone's favorite academic adventurer in LEGO form. However, representatives at LucasArts were insistent that Indy 2 is a true sequel as opposed to a quick rehash. The game will feature content from the Crystal Skull movie and will include new content from the previous three movies that was not available in the first LEGO Indiana Jones. But most importantly, Indy 2 features a full world builder that can be used to create entire levels through the in-game engine. With that said, it's worth reiterating how seamless the split-screen technology is in this Indy outing. In LEGO Indy 2, players are no longer tethered to one another while embarking on their adventures. When you stray too far from your trusty partner, the screen elegantly divides in half and the partition rotates and adjusts depending on your orientation in relation to the other player. When you stumble across your partner again, the partition lines up gracefully and then dissolves, leaving you with a single complete screen. This worked so well I imagine I'll have a hard time returning to any other form of split-screen play. Actually playing the game was quite fun, though the developer still has a number of kinks to work out. During my time with the world builder, I had trouble controlling my character, but this issue will almost certainly be remedied down the line. If all the technical issues can be fixed, this cooperative level creation system could be a total blast, despite not having as much control over the world like in the PS3 powerhouse LittleBigPlanet. With so much new content to offer, it's no wonder that LucasArts is billing this as a full sequel. We'll have more on LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues as the game approaches its launch date.

Heb de eerste Lego Indy 1000/1000 en 30 uur gespeeld

PS: is Lego Batman ook de moeite waard?

 

Lego Batman schijnt beter te zijn dan Indy, omdat je daar meer verschillende karakters hebt. Zelf vond ik Indy leuker, maar dat is eigen gevoel

 

Wat is eigenlijk de release date? Moet deze hebben

Maar er komt al zoveel uit, helemaal volgestopt van oktober tot februari

 

Leuk spel.Deel 1 heb ik ook die ben ik ook aan het spelen dus deel 2 komt ook zeker in huis alleen wel als hij goedkoper is

 

wel jammer dat deel 2 eigenlijk gewoon deel 1 is plus de laatste film...

 

Star Wars owned echt, tenminste de hele collectie voor 20 euro ofzo.

Btw: Harry Potter komt ook nog.

 

vond deel 1 leuk. Alleen had je te weinig (verschillende karakters)

10 karakters die een boek lezen, 10 indy's, 10 met een zwaard etc.

Ze moeten eens alles van lego maken inplaats van alleen de personages en een paar andere dingen. Lijkt me veel toffer.

 

beste lego game vind ik nog starwars, daarna batman en dan indy.
batman is wel dope gedaan.
lego indy 2 komt ook in de collectie van de lego games.
lekkere no brainers.
en er komt ook nog lego harry potter in 2010....

 

Wat gaat ie hier eigenlijk kosten?

Bij Zavvi is ie nu maar 32 inclusief en als ie hier gewoon full-priced is bestel ik hem effetjes

 

Lijkt me een vermakelijke game. Deeltje 1 helemaal kapot gespeeld (1000/1000) Deeltje 2 zal er misschien ook wel inkomen.

 

Deel 1 heel veel gespeeld maar nooit 1000/1000 gehaald omdat mijn game gebugd was met 1 schatje wat onvindbaar was of gewoon niet geteld was

Deze ga ik zeker spelen. In je eentje is ie niet heel boeiend maar met een buddy erg vermakelijk.

 

Heb de game anders toch 30 uur gespeeld in mijn eentje
