Ok so after a long weekend, I beat the game nearly lvl 40, guild rank lvl 6, Bind lvl 10 and countless hours searching the web for answers ive found some great information. I will update this thread with more information when I get home and with more information as I find out the facts. If a moderator can sticky this that would be great, I also hope no one minds that I pulled this post from my own post on the other thread I started, just wanted to put it in a more easily accessible thread and as the first post in the thread.
____ ____________________________ ______________ ____________________
Stats
STR>>> Increases attack power, also affects Striking type weapons skills and combos.
DEX>>> Increases accuracy, and mainly affects Thrusting type weapon damage.
VIT>>> Increases defense and 40% of your VIT is added to your spear's damage.
AGI>>> Increases evasion(dodge), weapons parrying rate and shields Blocking rate. Also affects Slashing type weapons damage.
INT>>> Increases magic damage, and also helps increase the damage of Bow/great sword/katana combos.
SPR>>> Increases Magic defense and Healing Magic potency.
________________ ______________ ________________ ___________________
Weapons
BOW>>> The fastest attacking weapon class as a whole adding a measly +.07 sec to your attack time. Takes 2 hits to add one AC, the lowest of them all.
SWORD>>> All one handed swords except dagger type weapons increase your attacking time by +1.0, daggers increase it by +.07. 3 Hits to add one AC
LONGSWORD>>> 2 handed swords/katanas increase your action time by +2sec, 4 hits to add one AC
AXE>>> Any 2handers that fall in the axe category increase your action time by +2sec, 4 Hits to add one AC
STAFF>>> Increases you action time by +1sec, 3 hits to add one AC
SPEAR>>> Increases your action time by +1sec, 3 hits to add one AC. Spear users will note that adding massive amounts of VIT is extremely helpful, not only does 1 VIT = 1 Def but 40% of your VIT will be translated into spear damage, along with 60% from DEX due to thrusting damage modification.

ARMOR
Heavy plate type>>> Increases your action time by +0.22sec per piece equipped, except the chest which adds +0.85sec.
Medium Armor type>>> Increases your action time by +0.10sec per piece equipped, except the chest which adds +0.22.
Light Armor type>>> Increases your action time by +0.05sec per piece equipped, except the chest which adds +0.10sec.
Small size shield>>> Increases your action time by +0.70sec
Large size shield>>> Increases your action time by +1.0sec
For those of you who think armor makes no difference in attack time, equip full heavy plate for one battle, then take off your armor for another. You will visibly be able to tell a difference. The information I posted here has come from a japanese source, a friend of mine on PSN who got the information from "Japan game magazine Dengeki Playstation Vol.439 Page 120". I have the rest of the information to post while im at home on lunch.
Game tips>>>
Both the Longsword and Spear trees have abilities which you can exchange 20 mp for 2ac you can use these before boss fights to build up your AC to perform some devastating combos. Also in the single player mode I have found that by gaining these skills with either Leonard or Ceasar and using them to get to 7AC thereby being able to transform you can farm the hardest areas in the game. The cool thing I found by doing that was after you revert back to human form your MP is refilled to its maximum thereby letting you use your AC buff skills again and then being able to transform again. You can do this pretty quickly and really make short work of the hardest large mobs.
Another tip I have is to go to quest areas where you can create a 1 AC combo and using it to 1 shot smaller enemies. You can gain alot of XP and Gilders by doing this, you dont even have to finish the quest, and theres no penalty for leaving the quest. Also theres no XP death penalty in quests so fear not dieing.
If you want to amass as many guild points as possible in the shortest amount of time I recommend getting a nice group and doing the "dish best served cold" online quest. You can do it in 2 minutes or perhaps slightly less with a really good group and it gets you roughly 5400 guild points each time, along with a bunch of crafting materials. Best part is after you get guild rank 7 your material drops are improved GREATLY so you can really get some nice stuff faily quickly.
More gameplay tips and more to come.
Enjoy one of Level-5's best games yet!!!

Feb 09, 10 at 3:56amre: Atributes, weapons, armor etc. Information inside.
This is great information. What are your resources? Also, I did a little bit of experimentation in the game to figure out which attribute bonuses were attached to each weapon class.
Swords:
2xSTR+
3xAGI+
5xDEX+
LongSwords:
5xHP+
3xSTR+
2xVIT+
Spears:
2xHP+
5xVIT+
3xSPR+
Bows:
2xINT+
5xAGI+
3xDEX+
Axes:
3xHP+
5xSTR+
2xDEX+
Staffs:
5xMP+
3xINT+
2xSPR+
I left out the two magic skill trees, because I didn't explore those ones.

Interessante info.
Keuzes, keuzes.
