The Perfect World largely represents a test for the Hero; the save game "card" refers to it as "the ultimate test". In this dream-like reality, the Hero is gifted with an opportunity at their own perfect existence, with all their loved ones alive and living happily in a wealthy estate away from the slums of Bowerstone where they can regain the innocent pleasures that were stolen from them. This dream is something that Lucien has dedicated his life to achieve and the Hero has dedicated their life to prevent. At night, however, the Hero is awoken by the sound of the Music Box, the object that brought the wrath of Lucien down upon them and represents the hardships that, while avoided in this world, are not capable of being destroyed or silenced, as they are the world's true nature. By investigating the sound, the Hero breaks the illusion and walks through the nightmare road littered with corpses, possibly the war that killed their parents as their fate is not elaborated, but more likely a general representation of the death that has no place in the Perfect world. Only by having endured the hardships Lucien had caused, and rejecting a chance to ignore them for a better place, does the Hero prove that they are stronger than Lucien and worthy to stop him.
Ik vond het erg sterke scene in ieder geval. Ik heb die dag wel een stuk of 10 keer gedaan ofzo omdat ik dacht dat er vanzelf wat veranderde. Maar je voelde wel je geweten knagen (van mijn char ofc 
) en dat vroeger alles beter was enzo.. Ik vond het een mooi stuk!
