hoelaat?

 

Ik ben echt aan het twijfelen of ik de Special Edition ga halen of niet 60 euro voor de game en dus 50 euro voor de extra's (beeld, sleutelhanger etc.) vind ik zelf wat duur, maar toch een echte collectors item voor fans.

Ben benieuwd naar de trailer! Alles wat ik tot nu toe heb gezien was te gek. Deze game is nog een van de weinigen waar ik op sta te wachten

 

Die prijs is echt achterlijk.

Dan zou ik het importeren dan betaal je misschien 80 euro?

 

Trailer verschijnt om 18.00 uur Nederlandse tijd.

 

Toen de game werd aangekondigd dacht ik NEEEE ik wil in de donkere straten van America spelen en niet in een warm land. Maar ik begin er stiekem wel meer begrip voor te hebben, nu ik in deze trailer een beetje "verhaal" zie heb ik er opzich wel zin in.
Ik vind die criminelen die achter je aanzitte of jij achter hun altijd zo goed worden neergezet. Ze willen je echt doodhebben en ze voelen niet aan als computergestuurde mannetjes al snap je wat ik bedoel.
Heb hem zojuist Gepreorderd

 

Heb ik nog steeds wel. Vind het nog steeds jammer van het zonnige sfeertje.
Maar gelukkig maakt het schietmechanisme en physics denk ik veel goed.

 

Het blijft vet! Als je in straten wil schieten ga je MP2 nog maar eens spelen

 

Ja was het allemaal maar zo simpel.

• The bulk of the game takes place in São Paulo where Max is working executive security for Rodrigo Branco, a successful businessman, and his two brothers, Marcelo and Victor - all members of São Paulo's wealthy upper class. When Rodrigo’s beautiful trophy wife, Fabiana is kidnapped while under Max's protection, Max fights to find out who’s behind the kidnapping and in the process, becomes involved in something much larger.
• GameStar played the PC version and the level involving Max and Passos making a money drop at a football stadium with the Comando Sombra gang, who were responsible for the kidnapping, in exchange for Fabiana's release. Things go according to plan until a second mysterious paramilitary group storms the stadium to get in on the action and engages the C.S with Max and his partner caught in the middle.
• The previewer points out how great everything looks with the R.A.G.E engine being used for a more linear experience and how destructible the environments are, coupled with the newest version of NaturalMotion's Euphoria Engine to provide the most realistic animation and movement they've seen in a game before thats only more emphasised with Bullet-Time.
• Little touches to the visuals include individual blood splatter on Max from an enemy or if he's shot will actually carry over to cutscenes along with whatever weapon load out the player has equipped.
• Painkillers are back and can provide a life saver with "Last Man Standing", a feature that when the enemy delivers the killing blow but you have 1 painkiller left then the game shows you the enemy who dealt that shot and gives you one last chance in taking them out in Bullet-Time and recovering with a small amount of health. Don't have a painkiller? Game Over and you restart from the last checkpoint.
• No load times throughout the whole game including cutscenes.
• AI more intelligent than previous MP games and their behavior and actions vary depending on if they're untrained New York mobsters or trained paramilitary groups.An example being that the NY thugs will generally charge in guns blazing while favela street gangs and mercenaries use cover, will try to outflank you if you use cover and conserve their ammo.
• There's also a "Morale" system in place for the A.I in that if you play like badass ex-cop shoot dodging hitting headshots and being aggressive then the rest of the gang members will actually turn and run away. Likewise if you suck then the enemy will become more aggressive AGAINST you.
• Shoot dodge and then if you don't move you can aim and shoot 360 degrees from the prone position.
• You can melee when you get up close to an enemy which also allows you to steal their weapon and deliver an execution.
• Max's inventory has changed in that you can carry 1 heavy two-handed weapon (assault rifle, M4 Tactical Shogun etc) and 2 one-handed sidearms.
• Max's appearance will change drastically, duh!, from the beginning of the game to the end.
• Bulk of the game is in Sao Paulo but there will be flashbacks to NYC throughout the story.
• Max's monologues are back and GameStar concludes that Max in MP3 feels more "Hard-Boiled" with less "whining" and as the story progresses becomes more self-confident and aggressive.
• GameStar finishes that game is straight up "Gun Porn" and is currently 90% complete and feel that with what they've played and seen, Max Payne 3 is shaping up to be the best entry in the series.
• Motion Comics are replacing the old "Graphic Novel" segments from the first 2 games. The "comics" are now done in real-time which shift from gameplay to various panels without loading and seemless that in the end look like a cross between "24" and the comics from past.

Ze hoeven wat mij betreft eigenlijk niks meer te laten zien

sinds dit filmpje ben ik 100% overtuigd dat het niet alleen een waardige opvolger word maar ook een flinke stap gaat zetten in animatie voor TPS games.

Eindelijk een game die echt gaat doen wat ze ons jaren geleden in die bullshit trailers van 8 days beloofden

HUD is ook weer heerlijke classic, met dat poppetje als health bar en painkillers. Ben ook zo blij dat ze Max' stemmen hebben weten te houden.

 

Must play dit jaar naast AC 3.
Voor de rest weet ik eigenlijk niet wat eruit komt dit jaar.

 

Trials Revolution, Hitman Absolution, Farcry 3, Borderlands 2 o.a.

 

Ah Hitman en Far Cry ook op het lijstje dan.

 

Best lekker game jaartje inderdaad.

 

Misschien ook nog GTA?
Maar het game jaar is al goed wanneer er een GTA komt.
