Ik heb een gamerscore van 50,000+ en ben al 9 jaar xbox live gold lid.

En bij mij staat niets. Misschien omdat ik een 14 dagen Gold kaart heb gebruikt gisteren, dat hij me daarom nog niet als echt Gold member ziet? Raar allemaal.

 

Volgens mij als je een nieuwe gold bijneemt, dan telt het totaal aan gold dagen zich op tot jaren. als je op de guide knop drukt en je profiel bekijkt staat er rechts van je naam het aantal jaar dat je Xbox Live hebt.

 

Hij geeft toch zelf aan dat meer niet altijd beter is...

Voor mij is het het Forza vs Killzone dus qua aantallen gewoon 1 tegen 1 en zo maakt iedereen weer een persoonlijke afweging

 

Dat zou het kunnen zijn, al heb ik volgens mij ook een tijdje geen gold gehad en heb nog steeds 9 jaar gold .

 

Klopt idd man. Dat zou er normaal moeten staan...maar er staat nu niets. Het zal wel komen omdat MS mij nu niet als Gold member ziet...op mijn dash blijf ik de pic zien van 'ga nu voor Gold voor gratis games' . Terwijl ik gisteren een 14 dagen Gold proeflidmaatschap code heb gebruikt.

 

Helaas X-Junk ik heb het geprobeerd om het uit te leggen, dit snap je niet na een aantal keer dan houdt het op._0/

Call of Duty is “review-proof,” says analyst

According to Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz, reviews of Call of Duty: Ghosts will have very little impact on the game’s sales, despite the critics being dissatisfied with this year’s release.

Creutz, in an interview with GamesIndustry, said:
We think [Call of Duty] has become such an embedded franchise that it is somewhat review-proof.

Creutz pointed towards the recently released Ghosts review scores, which have been around 74 out of 100 on Metacritic. Creutz continued:
We think of [Call of Duty] as being like EA's Madden NFL, which continues to sell similar unit numbers year in and year out, regardless of reviews; Madden's Metacritic has ranged as low as 78 in recent years.

Call of Duty only changes minutely from year to year, Creutz thinks” reviewers have become increasingly likely to give very high review scores due to a certain degree of ennui with the franchise.”

Creutz also used Battlefield 4 as another example, saying it “didn’t exactly cover itself in glory” from reviewers.

The game is still doing quite well, however.
When discussing how to break this trend, Creutz pointed towards the highly anticipated next-gen first-person shooters, such as Titanfall and Destiny, in order to disrupt the market.

He said:
Our concern lies more with next year, when Call of Duty will face competition from several new next-gen shooters, including EA's Titanfall and Activision's own Destiny.

To the degree that Call of Duty may become a bit of a 'been there done that' experience for gamers, we think it is vulnerable to losing share as new product enters the market; even if a lot of that share goes to Destiny, as a third-party title it will carry a lower margin for [Activision], and we think bullish 2014 EPS estimates assume Destiny will be more incremental than cannibalistic.

Just yesterday the head of Avalanche Studios, Christofer Sundberg, stated he predicts “the end of an era” with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4. Sundberg said that these games could go free-to-play in order to live on, but newer and greater things will eventually push them out.

We may see those new and great things with the upcoming next-generation consoles. Let’s hope we’ve seen the last annual rehash of the Call of Duty series.

Activision is currently working on an app to be released in North America soon.
