Quick Guide
There are 3 separate options up for the running but in the end we all want a quick guide one way or the other. All will be toggled by some variation of the home button most likely by holding it down. This is not to replace the "Straight to dashboard feature" instead in addition to.
Guide 1: A wheel or tile menu. Think of the typical selection wheel or the tile menu of windows metro but a mini version. Options in this wheel will be broken up into sections to choose by moving one of the sticks. Options on the wheel will be Record, Screenshot, Snap, Friends List, Party, Background Music, Settings, Turn Xbox Off etc.

Guide 2: Bring back a similar but updated version of the Xbox 360 Quick Guide. It will feature the most commonly used options such as party, friends, recent players, achievements, quick play, messages, settings and snap etc.

Guide 3: Quick Guide App. It manages friends, achievements, parties etc. Everything that the guide did on the 360. Only, this app is snap-able. A side menu style guide with all the xbox live essentials. It can also be fully customized with your selected pins.
