Today I and my brother try to play wirelessly on the same router and each one has an xbox one but get issues. I notice that we can’t let two Xbox one consoles use the same internet network. They just don’t connect and show the error message “the connection to the host has ended and I can’t join in the game” on the screen. How can I fix the issues or is that possible to make two gaming consoles working?
How to connect 2 xbox one to 1 router on a network
* To resolve the problem, you require a router with ports in the listening mode support, so the ports can be opened for Xbox Live Server. And the ports are 53, 80, 88 and 3074.
* Then two devices must use Port Range Triggering on a single server. Remember don’t trigger the ports at Port Range Forwarding and you should disable “Port Range Forwarding” and DMZ feature.
* To avoid any issues with lagging while you are playing games, the third step is to set your MTU size to 1364. If the UPnP feature is available, you’d better enable it.
