Nice, ik heb een Pro met een 1080p tv .
Nu nog maar zien of er echt verschil te zien is.

Ja, de framerate in games gaat omlaag.

 

Ik overdreef natuurlijk, maar bij mij gaat *alles* uit wat ook maar de performance minimaal raakt in games. Ik vind stabiele performance minstens net zo belangrijk als mooie plaatjes en afhankelijk van het type game (zoals een FPS) in die gevallen zelfs nog belangrijker.

 

Bluepoint Games has confirmed that its next project in the wake of the stunning Shadow of the Colossus for PlayStation 4 is a new remake. Digital Foundry had the opportunity to talk with the team about the technology powering its latest release, and asked whether the expanded art team brought on for the project would be deployed next on an original game.

"Well, we could but we're doing another remake," replied Bluepoint's president and co-owner, Marco Thrush. "This project served us as a great point of growing the art team to the point where we can take on a full triple-A game major scope of art content. So now our next step is, let's improve the art pipeline, let's improve the engine, let's improve workflow for artists, let's grow on the art side some more to handle our next project because it's a bit bigger. And our next focus is, all right, let's work on design and add new stuff to get to the next remake, because now that can be our sole focus of making sure that's where we put the time and everybody else, they're already at a level where we can perform."

Aside from confirming that the next game is a remake and that the scope of the new project exceeds its last release.

Welke game denken jullie dat het word ?
Hun remakes zijn altijd wel goed dus ben benieuwd.

 

Spyro? Syphon Filter? Metal Gear? Ik heb geen idee van de licenties overigens.

 

Ja ik las dat Sony vorig jaar de licentie van Syphon filter vernieuwd had.
Verder ook niet echt een idee.

EDIT:

Volgend jaar is het ook 20th Anniversary for de game.


What it's not:

• Spyro Trilogy has been in production since 2015 (along with Crash), and is likely being done by Vicarious Visions or Toys for Bob.
• Shenmue is seemingly being done in-house by Sega/Atlus, and already well into production.
• Ico is smaller in scope than Shadow of the Colossus so it cannot be that.
• MediEvil is already announced & supposed to be coming out this year.

Wellicht Heavenly Sword of de Infamous games.

Zelf zou ik Modnation Racers wel leuk vinden, mede omdat we zo'n game gewoon missen op PS4. Of de Motorstorm trilogy. Of de eerste Ni No Kuni.

 

De eerste Motorstorm zou heel vet zijn. Vond dat toen zo'n ontzettend vette game. Lekker crossen in het mulle zand tegen vrachtwagens en bikes.

 

Tenchu zou ik wel tof vinden aangezien we toch geen nieuwe deel krijgen.

 

Nieuwe FROM teaser had meen ik een aantal
Tenchu verwijzingen. Teaser kan van alles zijn maar maybe

 

Ja ik weet het, maar over die zelfde teaser kwam ook een andere oude game naar voren en die zou het ook goed kunnen zijn.
Maar we gaan het zien.

 

Van een zesje tot een essential bij Eurogamer. Lastig. Burnout vind ik erg vet, maar Paradise was mijn minst favoriete game (serie gespeeld vanaf Takedown).

 

Jup, vond Paradise ook niet zo leuk, open work vind ik hier niet passen.
