Lady's and Gentlemen, today we are going to do something incredible. Some of you may know of a project called 'Extra Life' which is about gamers making a difference. With this project they make a difference through raising money for children's hospitals that treat children with both severe and terminal illnesses, by playing video games. Over the years Bungie has brought us the incredible series of Halo and Marathon as well as Oni, Operation Desert Storm and now Destiny. I can't think of a better way of saying that we are grateful to them by supporting a cause that they care deeply for. Our plan is to raise money for the Seattle Children's Hospital and to get as many guardians involved as possible. We will be hosting a 24 hour Destiny gaming session on the 25th October 2014 on behalf of this cause and don't worry if you can't do the entire 24 hours, even 10 minutes of your time would mean the world. Signing up is free and no bank details are required.

    1. To sign up visit http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm? and click 'JOIN' in the green box on the right hand side.

2.On the sign-up sheet where it says 'Roles' select 'Join a Team' and scroll down to 'Bungie Community'.

3.When you get to selecting the hospital scroll down to 'WA - Seattle Children's Hospital' and select it.

4.After that input all of your personal details that need to be submitted and you're good to go.

If I can emphasise a few things it's that no bank details of any kind need to be entered to register on the site and it doesn't matter if you raise $1000 or $0.10, what matters is that you are making a difference to a childs life.

As of 23:22 GMT+0 on 8th May 2014 we have 2 participants in the team and $30 raised...what will October bring?

    Through adversity to the stars.

*Edit* This will go out to all of the Bungie community. This isn't for StarSide Echoes. This is for the children in need. I want to see this Explode into history. The biggest groups have been around 200. Lets trample that with our numbers! We can do this! I, Master of Blood, will be there to roll the full 24. Will you be there to play destiny with us?
