ik denk later, hij staat voor Maart 2004 voor in Amerika om uit te komen !

 

Hij staat voor "When it's done" en dat is wanneer hij uitkomt. Elke informatie die niet van Bungie zelf komt kan je zien als onzin, waar het ook staat.

Waar ze op richten is begin volgend jaar. We zullen zien.

Wel kwam er het gerucht van Halo2 op 15 november, de verjaardag van Xbox. Dit is natuurlijk klinkklare onzin en alleen hele naieve mensen geloven het, maar er bestaan hele theorieen over

Wat wel waar is dat er in Amerika een reclame draait met P. Diddy die weet te vertellen dat er op 15 november iets gaat gebeuren waardoor iedereen van de Xbox zal weten en het niet meer zal vergeten. Vandaar die geruchten, maar áls het al iets is met Halo2 dan zou het maybe een demo (publiek of niet) kunnen zijn. Ga er echter niet van uit... In ieder geval wel leuk om 15 november in de gaten te houden!

 

Lijkt me een beetje een flopper als ze opeens met niks komen.
Ik kijk helemaal niet uit naar Halo2 of naar welke andere game en ik denk dat dat komt omdat alles zo ge-hyped is, ik word doodgegooid met elk klein screenshotje wat weer nieuw is elke filmpje met een resolutie die je binnen kunt halen met een 16kbit modem en het aller ergste is.......................

Ik ben toch echt diegene die altijd naar XBW surft en weer alles checkt.

Ik zie net op deze site dat daar de release date op 25 april staat. Het is wel een online winkel, dus het zal wel niet kloppen.
Bovendien zal ook wel alles (zoals Kobold al zei) onzin zijn als het niet van Bungie afkomt.
Maar ik dacht alleen 'laat het jullie even weten'

Bungie's SketchFactor just posted the following message at a Halo forum:

"Despite all the juicy rumors floating around the net lately, I can confirm with absolute certainty that Halo 2 is NOT coming out in 2003. As we have said for quite some time now, the game will be released when it is done and that will be in 2004. It is not coming out next week. It will not be on store shelves this holiday. Why would anyone want to do a "secret release" with a property as big as Halo 2 anyways? What possible benefit is there in sneaking it onto shelves without making the consumer aware?

Please remember that unless you hear it direct from Bungie, you shouldn't pay attention to any release dates or speculation you see or hear. I'm sorry to crush hopes of playing the game early but it's better than getting your hopes up prematurely. I'm as eager as you are to get my hands on the finished game but we're not there yet.

When the time is right, I imagine we will have more to say about a firm release date. For now, we stand by what we've always said - Halo 2 will be released when it's finished."

So, there you go. We always said it was a rumour, and just as the commerical screens that everyone got so excited about proved to be fake, it turns out the whole thing was a hoax.

Then again, did anyone honestly believe Halo 2 would be released in a week?

Wel als Bungie echt een 'stille' release wil, want dan zullen ze ook die 'geruchten' ontkennen en volhouden dat hij pas volgend jaar komt, maar dit zal allemaal wel niet
Achja, over een jaar weten we de release date zeker (mag ik hopen)

Halo 2 Demo set for LIVE distribution on 15th Nov and the retail release for 28th November 2003?

According to rumours currently flying around the internet faster than something really fast, there will be a Demo of Halo 2 released on November 15th followed by the full game on November 28th 2003. Read on for more and more on this story...




At all started some time back on the 9th of September 2003 when Spong.com released a news story stating the following:



According to one Microsoft Game Studios source, Halo 2 is in a stage “...more advanced than Halo was when it was released”, but is being held up in order to scoop Xbox Live repeat subscriptions.



Speaking to us yesterday, we were assured that “...the game is almost complete. Let’s just say that it could definitely be out for Christmas but may not meet the November 15th date to capture American re-subscriptions and may hit as late as mid-December.”



The new Rumours flying around now state:



As November 15 steadily approaches, rumors are flying around the Internet regarding Microsoft's big surprise for the system's second anniversary. November 15, 2001 marked the launch of the system (along with the game that put Microsoft on the map, Halo), Nov 15, 2002 marked the launch of Xbox Live and rumors are currently stating that 2003 will be the biggest surprise releases in the history of video gaming.



While this is only a rumor, an actual Microsoft Xbox public relations representative has contacted managers for both EB and Game Crazy retailers releasing some rather interesting news. The district managers of both stores were told that Halo: Combat Evovled will be joining the Platinum Hit's list on November 15, which sequentially drops its price to $19.99.

The current buzz is that Halo 2 will also be available on the 15th, that same day the original drops in price. A district manager of EB is saying the game will be available that day for numerous reasons. The "Vendor of the Month" at EB stores for November is the Microsoft Xbox, a mysterious Halo 2 trade-in deal has surfaced this month and the tentative ship date for the game is currently April 1 (April Fools Day). We are sure we'll have more on what may be the biggest surprise release in the recent history of videogames.

Die gehele reclame schijnt trouwens niet eens te bestaan.

 

Ik hoop dat het niet waar is en dat 15 november bekend
gemaakt wordt dat de 28e Halo 2 in de shops zal liggen.

 

Ik vind het allemaal maar vaag rondom halo2, ik kan me niet voorstellen dat die nu al klaar zou kunnen zijn. En ik wil ZEKER NIET een afgeranselde Halo2. Dat zou niet mogen.

Als Halo2 niet de beste xboxgame is als hij uitkomt, is hij te vroeg uitgekomen.
OK, dit is misschien wat overdreven, maar ik wil hier gewoon mee aangeven dat ik liever hab dat Halo2 laat uitkomt en goed werkt, dan vroeg en dat ie vol zit met bugs ofzo.
Laat Bungie nog maar rustig aan Halo2 sleutelen, zodat het een échte goede game wordt.

nog een dag wachten... misschien geven ze wel een download vrij (wellicht tegen betaling) van dat level die ze op de e3 lieten zien

 

Als je dat soort onzin nou eens niet post voorkom je dat we zometeen weer tien threads hierover hebben. En dan in elke appart helemaal uitleggen dat het niet waar is, en dan komt er weer een lulhannes aan die gewoon weer vrolijk door lult.
