As long as you signed up for the beta, you have a chance of this. By the time November 15th rolls around, there will be a lot of users already on board. 4. You are better off not receiving the September 20th email. Since you will have higher odds of receiving and email to purchase the kit within the next couple weeks. Sit tight and relax. 5. Don't believe everything you see on the board. It seems there are a lot of bogus emails and posts. 6. Xbox.com Tech support is not part of the beta process, so they do not know the whole story and get bits and pieces to give out. Unfortunately they are not always correct. 7. You can still sign up for the beta. This will give the option to be added early as they need more people. Some people confirmed to test are not ordering the kits.
