Justice Is a Dish Best Served Cold: Crackdown Demo Delayed

Greetings, Agent!
We wanted to share a quick update on the status of the Crackdown demo, that was recently scheduled to appear over Xbox LIVE Marketplace on Wednesday, January 18th. The demo is going through the final steps of the certification process, which has delayed the scheduled release by several days, though it is still on-track to appear before the end of January.
Please note that while the retail release of Crackdown will feature a robust, jump-in-anytime-and-play cooperative mode, the demo will not support “join-in-progress” gameplay. Gamers must organize co-op matches from the demo’s interface before jumping into the crime-ridden streets of Pacific City. Once in a game, players will be able to fully explore one of the four major gang-held territories available in the final game. Also note that Agent leveling is enhanced in the demo to provide a better understanding of the advanced abilities of these physically augmented peacekeepers.
With Crackdown ready to explode onto store shelves on Tuesday, Feb. 20, the wait is almost over. We’ll be in touch shortly with final details on the demo’s availability.
