Onderwerp: Lack of communication?
Michael: Hello and welcome to Xbox interactive online chat support! My name is Michael.
Fireballs: Hello
Michael: How can we assist you today?
Fireballs: Well let me first tell some things to make clear what this is all about ok?
Michael: Sure thing
Fireballs: Its a lot, but read it at your own speed ;-) Take your time.
Fireballs: As many others X-box gamers, I signed in for the reward pack. I could ask you why I havent got mine after 28 days, but the most disturbing thing is the LACK of communication towards the customers via the x-box websites. I am from the Netherlands, and the x-box website almost NEVER changes in content; a very bad move I think! Besides that, I am sure you get many emails and phonecalls with the questions why many people didn't yet received their reward pack. Simpel solution: TRY to COMMUNICATE via your x-box sites about the problems you have / or not have!
Fireballs: Also a problem is that there isn't a consistent way why one person gets the reward pack ealier than the other person; some that signed up a week before the official sign up date on April 26th received the reward pack, others didn't.....some that signed up ON April 26th received it, and others didn't....some that signed up begin May received already the reward pack (!). Strange thing is that many people in the UK had NO problems with receiving the reward pack in a reasonable time. Why do we all think it's a mess and why am I finally writing also an email? Because Microsoft is NOT communicating to their customers!
Fireballs: What can I say to the DUTCH x-box gamers, as there are much rumours about the delay in sending the reward pack to us? Please be so kind to inform us CLEARLY what we can(not) expect and all other issues on the reward pack to be send to the DUTCH x-box owners! And please....DO NOT respond in a standard email that Microsoft is handling the issues and that my reward pack is coming soon. We want to know WHY! ;-)
Fireballs: THAT's it ;-)
Michael: Thanks - one moment while I review that please
Fireballs: ok, take your time ;-)
Michael: When did you send in the form for your Customer Care pack?
Fireballs: April 25th
Michael: 28 days later, in that case, would mean tommorow. Of course, usual postal delays can also cause additional time to pass before Customer Care packages arrive.
Fireballs: But I hope you took really the time to read the aboce issues...it's not only the reward pack, but the whole lack of communication on xbox.nl
Fireballs: lack of information / rumours are spreading because of many perspectives of the handling of the reward packs and other issues!
Fireballs: So some good (actual) info on the Dutch X-Box website (that NEVER changed in content (!) would clear many things for us all here in the Netherlands
Michael: Sites are updated as frequently as possible. The main site has the most information, of course. As soon as information is confirmed for other areas, the sites are updated whenever possible.
Michael: Have you contacted the Customer Care number for The Netherlands for more info about your Customer Rewards pack?
Fireballs: As 100's others too ;-)
Michael: Thanks for your feedback and opinions - they will be documented and passed along. You can also use our Feedback feature on our site for just such commentary, or use the email feature on the Netherlands site.
Fireballs: I think its the wrong approach to let the customers call you. Each person is giving other reasons (problems with email addresses).
Fireballs: So many rumours are seen on the Dutch newsgroups & websites. An official statement on the DUcth website would destress all those rumours ;-)
Michael: Unfortunately, we don't have any information as to why the Customer Care pack in your area has not arrived - this chat service is mostly intended for North American customers. We suggest using the local Customer Care number for more information. As for rumors, nothing about the Xbox is official until seen on Microsoft or Xbox's site, or otherwise disclosed directly from them
Fireballs: I also sent an email to supxbxen@microsoft.com
Fireballs: ok well thnx for your feedback, although it's not helping us out this situation ;-)
Michael: We're sorry we could not be of more assistance. It was a pleasure chatting with you today, for your convenience and future reference, you will receive by e-mail a detailed transcript of our chat, including all site links and services. Thank you for inquiring about Xbox. If you need further assistance, please come back and visit us again. I hope you have a nice day!
