1. Explain what the Keyes' Loop is.

Keyes tegen 3 covenant ships. De eerste schakelt hij uit met het MAC cannon, de volgende met zijn eigen plasma rockets, door een collision course, die hij op het laatste moment met 0.01 graad verandert, waardoor de raketten het covenant ship raken. De 3e schakelt hij uit door de shiva warhead die hij in tegenovergestelde richting had afgeschoten, laat ontploffen zodra het Cov. schip in de buurt is.
De naam loop komt voor uit dat dat laatste gebeurt terwijl ze een rondje om de planeet vliegen.

Boek is geweldig, was natuurlijk al bekend maar ja k, kan niet wachten op 'The Flood'

Volgens mij bij vraag 3 over die kinderen zijn ze meegenomen en ze zijn echt niet gevraagd toch?
5.Eerste missie was toch die bel rinkelen daarmee was John eerste maar de rest van zijn team was achter dus verloor hij?
Eerste planeet was Jericho V|| toch die werd opgeblazen?heb het opgezocht zie blz. 8!
En Sigma Octanus een sterrenstelsel ??

 

Bij vraag 3.

Ze zijn zeker niet vrijwillig spartan geworden.
Ik denk alleen niet dat ze gekidnap zijn door gewone marines. Daar is het project net een beetje teveel geheim voor

 

blz 1-10 zijn de proloog...daarna springt de tijd 20 jaar terug. De eerste totaal verwoeste planeet is harvest, het contact werd verloren. De planeet werd teruggevonden met een weggekookte atmosfeer en alleen woestijn als landschap. de verkenners zijn allen vernietigd. 3 milioen doden. 5 schepen verloren.
