ik zat een beetje op tweakers rond te kijken en daar kwam ik deze link tegen
Roundup van 11 GeForce 4 4200Ti kaarten
is wel de moeite waard om ff te checken
voor het gemak hieronder hun conclusie
Conclusion
Unlike this whole roundup, the conclusion will be a bit on the shorter side. All these GeForce 4 Ti4200 cards are great, even better than great. An average, even an advanced user would be happy with any of them. This is why we formed our opinion based on the price of the cards as well. The best model on the test was Leadtek A250LE TD, because of its high quality and performance (and overclockability), and also because of its good price. It ships with a good software bundle, and the new series of cards, that is selling now, has even better memory and processor series, so it is even more ready for raising clock speeds (did someone say Ti4600?). After Leadtek, in the 128MB class are ASUS and Microstar. The V8420 series of cards didn’t surprise us very much – we expected that level of quality from ASUS. The pleasant surprise was only the price, which is not much higher than for, let’s say, the Chaintech model. MSI G4Ti4200 is a lonely sample in this roundup. In case you manage to get a card like this, we highly recommend it. Of course, we shouldn’t forget about Microstar’s LiveUpdate, software that will, in a couple of minutes, upgrade the versions of drivers and BIOS of your card. It was a pleasant experience even for us, who install various versions of drivers and BIOS manually every day, to just connect to the internet, and only restart the system a couple of minutes later. Additionally, Microstar also offers a good software bundle.
In the 64MB model class, we can say again that Leadtek A250LE is a very well rounded product. Still, Abit Siluro is a somewhat better buy, as it is the cheapest GeForce 4 Ti4200 card in our roundup. Siluro Ti4200 is a surprisingly high quality card, although not in the right mood for overclocking, but you’ll be in a good mood every time you see the exceptionally crisp 2D image it produces. Prolink is another card we must keep in mind, although this company doesn’t have an official distributor here. Great price, excellent 2D and overclocked performance are the best recommendation.
NVidia doesn’t have the fastest card on the market, at the moment at least. But, with the prices of GeForce 4 Ti4200 models getting lower, it can still remain at the top, at least when profit is concerned. The Titanium series is still in the very top of the performance charts, and a demanding gamer or a semi-professional “3D designer” can hardly need anything faster
