For those of you who aren’t aware, recently a certain PS3 image has been making itself apparent around the web. Unfortunately, majority of the people who have seen this image have been tricked into thinking that it was real. The image itself has been around for quite a while, since June to be exact, hidden in the archives of a French graphic artist's website. We thought it would just blow over, however, particular sites have recently stumbled upon the image and have in ignorence gone out of their way to write articles which varitibly state that the image is real, which quite contrary to the truth. We figured it was time for us to step in an reveal the truth.

After some quick research we discovered that the image was created several months ago by a 23 year old French, graphic artist by the name of Julien Vanhoenacker, a.k.a kanex. Vanhoenacker originally showcased the PS3 image at his small design studio site which can be found by visiting http://www.omind.net/. The next question was does this young artist work for Sony? We’re sorry to ruin all the excitement, however Julien does not work for Sony and the image is not an official concept image. To put it simply; the image was just a project to cure one graphic artists' boredom.

toch wel knap hoe die mensen plaatje kunnen maken dat heel erg echt lijkt, alleen weet je al zeker dat ie nep is doordat sony er zelf nog niks van heeft laten zien

 

Julien Vanhoenacker heeft een zeer mooie ontwerp gemaakt.
Het model doet mij denken aan Bang & Olufsen.

 

hahaahaaa doet me denken aan een broodrooster. Maar ziet er wel coowl uit...
K hoop dat de xbox ook zoiets word, gewoon strak...

Playstation 3 en de PSX zijn 2 compleet verschillende dingen hoor.

De PSX is bedoeld als Playstation 2 + DVD Recorder.
De Playstation 3 daarintegen, is puur bedoeld als spel comuter.

Foto van de Ps3 ziet er mooi uit, maar ik denk niet dat het de echte is.

 

Ik zie zelfs een "fout" in de "foto". Als je naar de controllerport kijkt van die erin zit, zie je dat de schaduw niet klopt, want deze loopt niet helemaal door tot tegen het ding zelf aan, en je ziet zelfs een touwtje aan beide kanten

Maar wel knap gemaakt dit, qua style lijkt ie wel veel op de ps2, met die stukjes eruit enzo

Die schaduw zie ik nu, inderdaad een beetje vreemd.
Touwtje zie ik helaas niet.

Ik bedoelde een schaduw van een touwtje aan beide kanten, terwijl er maar aan 1 kant een touwtje zit

 

ja klopt, maar is gewoon 3d gemoddeld dus wel beetje vreemd dat die schaduw dan verkeerd is

 

Zo geinig... tlijkt zo echt.. hoe doe je zoiets??

 

Was dat maar een echt ontwerp, maar dat zou dan veel geld gaan kosten.

 

3D programma zoals 3dsmax lightwave maya rhino etc zit veel oefening achter
