Gears of War was the most anticipated Xbox 360 game of the year. It sold more than one million copies in its first two weeks--more than any other 360 title to date. The game is also responsible for a surge in Xbox Live usage, resulting in an 80% increase in traffic since its release. Registration opens today for the ladder, meaning players have plenty of time to assemble teams, register for the event and begin practicing for the ladder and take part in what will be titled the KING OF WAR ladder. The ladder will be run on a points system similar to the football league with 3 points for a win 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. All games will be arranged amicably by clans with the help of GamersNation administrators if need be. Over a period of time as the ladder becomes larger it will splinter off into 2 or maybe even 3 ladders with time looking for promotion and the right to be crowned champions of their respective ladders.
