    Oh en btw, nog een erg cool stukje van één van de HPR leden op het Deathwing forum. Aangezien het best wel lang is zet ik hem in een spoiler.

    First of all I want to start this post by saying it's not intended to put anyone under a bad light. Not other guilds or any previous members of HPR. It's more a bragging post really ^^ So I would like to thank the other highend raidguilds on Deathwing for the great community and all players that previously has been a part of HPR for the cooperation while it lasted.

    HPR was founded by the guild Undutchables August 2005. The Coalition, Regia Victoria and Aniolki Roberta imidiately responded to the initiative and HPR was formed. Less than a month later we also incorporated Hanami. We started out with practice runs in UBRS to get used to CTRA and establish the RP system. We all started out in blue gear from a rather casual existence in our small guilds. As soon as the ZG-patch was released HPR started to raid there with great success. Even with worse gear than established raidguilds we progressed really fast. HPR grew larger and moved to MC with our first Luci-kill Oct. 26, and after a turbulent period with too many players with one of the guilds mass recruiting, HPR managed to settle with a more stable group of players with the guild Deep South in our structure. And since then HPR has consisted of the mentioned 6 guilds and a few players from Lx and Zgon Clan.

    Yesterday Nefarian lied slain beneath our feet. It was probably the proudest moment of my 16 month WoW career. Not only because Neffy is the big, bad boss that everyone aim to kill, but HPR's archievement was so unique compared to anyone else's.

    1. This is the first "PuG", or non-guild raidgroup to kill Nefarian. There have been lots of other similar projects, but most of them have failed.
    2. RL relationship structure. From the outside it's easy to think that not having one guild will cause more distance between players and hindering a friendly atmosphere. But this is not the case. RL friendship and family is an important aspect of HPR and that's why we wanted to keep our small guilds and rather cooperate. Those in HPR that does not have many RL friends there has at least been a part of one of the small, social guilds since the very beginning being a core member. Ofc there have been some clashes between the guilds, but through our officer structure with class-leaders and HPR-representatives we've managed to build bridges between the guilds, it's easy to trust your friend's friend you know ;]
    3. Recruitment limitation. This is IMO what makes HPR's archievment more impressive than any other Nefarian slayers on DW, no offence ;] All guilds experience some loss of players during their lifetime, either because they quit WoW, migrate or leave for another guild. HPR is no exception from that. The huge difference is that HPR don't have the luxury of having a famous guild-tag attracting new players. If a hunter in full tier1/tier2 leaves HPR, my guild (The Coalition) can't put an ad on this forum and expect a equivalent replacer. The response is expected to be; "WTF is The Coalition? WTF is HPR?" Usually to get a new player we trick RL friends into the game (lol), level the character up and help them into MC-ready gear. In the playerbase that killed Nefarian yesterday NOBODY had any gear obtained outside HPR. All other raidguilds at Neffy has done it with the help from guildhoppers and recruitment from disbanded guilds with both gear and experience to pick up with their new guild very fast. So I'm confident that I can proudly announce that HPR is the FIRST and ONLY 100% self-supported raid-group that has managed to kill Nefarian! /proud

    Ik heb echt precies hetzelfde. Ik log in, heb niks te doen, check ah en log maar weer uit. Ik kan makkelijk in high end guilds komen, maar ik weet niet of ik daar wel zo zin in heb...

    Maar wat een leuke vervanging voor PvP kan zijn is 2 of 3-man instances doen. (Strat, Scholo, Dire Maul)

    @ only ego - In de military ward heb je een hunter shop, kan je arrows/bullets kopen.

    Grote Naxxra farm is begonnen trouwens, mats stijgen gigantisch in prijs laatste paar dagen. Heb zelf gelukkig al alle mats benodigd voor me frost gear, en ben al een beetje op weg met de mats voor me T3. :cool: Leuk, farmen.:+

    Ik zie je anders nooit meer op SR, maare giel ik, eldine, paar vrienden van Pim zijn alts (alli) begonnen op mazri en hebben al een guild, we zijn nog niet ver dus join! ^^

    Op stormreaver is er ook een "PuG" raidgroep (Stormraids), deze hebben Nefarian al ongeveer 6 maanden neer.

    Haha ja inderdaad, dat is wel een erg stomme statement. En de "PuG" Stormraids is nu op 58% Twins. :cool:

    En no tnx Inf, SR 4 life! :+ Weinig tijd voor alt, ben druk bezig me hunter T3 klaar te maken. :)

    Ik zeg ook niet dat het jouw woorden zijn, ik zeg alleen dat ze over alle servers niet kloppen ;)

    Ik vind het toch altijd leuk om te zien dat een "PuG" zichzelf bewijst dat het wel degelijk kan al zullen de grote guilds jullie op het begin voor gek hebben verklaard. Ook zul je wel een aantal guilds verslagen hebben in de "race" om het killen van Nefarian die eerst tegen jullie neerkeken :)

    Yea, zeker.

    Een guild op onze server (Truth) had Nefarian een weekje eerder gedownt.

    Maar vervolgens hebben ze een keer Time Lapse bij Chromaggus en hebben ze er de grootste moeite :{. En deze week kregen ze Nefarian niet neer.

    En voor de rest nog een aantal guilds ver achter ons gelaten of zelfs ingehaald.

    Ja Furies, maar jullie gebruiken Threat Meter, dus geen wonder dat jullie er zo snel doorheen gegaan zijn. Ik hoorde van een member van jullie dat julle Threat Meter MOETEN gebruiken, maakt het spel toch wat minder intensief en uitdagend eerlijk gezegd.

    Yea, bij bepaalde boss encounters gebruiken we dat ja.

    Oa bij Vael en Onyxia. Voor de rest is het niet echt nodig omdat je niet fulltime kan DPS'en.

    We have been reading and gathering quite a lot of feedback from you in the Shaman class concerns thread(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-shaman-en&t=94165&p=1&tmp=1#post94165), and here is a summary of what we have been forwarding to the developers so far:

    Positive feedback

    The general talent tree changes are fairly well received. The trees are less cluttered now and some of the previously talents that have either been removed or integrated into other talents are also popular, since this frees up some talent points for other things. In general there are more attractive opportunities for talent build variation.

    The new elemental tree is well received

    The reduced totem mana cost and their improved duration times as well as +Heal and +Spelldamage effects is also well received, although many Shaman players feel that it is far from good enough.

    The Healing Way talent is appreciated and many shamans feel that it gives something unique to the Shaman class

    Implementation of the talents “Nature’s Guidance” and “Weapon Mastery” is considered positive

    Threat reduction in the restoration tree is well received

    Totemic focus talent now seems worthy to put talent points in for many Shaman players.

    Tier 3 armor set graphics are well appreciated.

    Negative feedback

    The general concensus among Shaman players is that the revamp focuses on the wrong issues with the Shaman class. Its PvP issues got addresses well enough in this revamp, but the PvE issues are virtually unchanged since before the revamp. The Shaman is still pretty much forced to be a restoration healing specced shaman in raids.

    Many Shaman players feel that the enhancement tree was the talent tree that needed the most attention, yet was the tree that was mostly left alone.

    Most of the raiding shaman players feel that they are forced to spend 31 talent points in the restoration tree in order to get the relatively weak mana tide. This highly prevents variation in gameplay in end-game raiding.

    Most Shaman players see low or no possibilities to aid their raid when focusing on the enhancement or elemental tree, this means no real raid appealing skills in the elemental/enhancement trees. The reason for this opinion from the players is that they consider the shaman as a class who should provide offensive enhancement to their fellow players.

    Totems are considered useless when fighting mobile targets, so the players would like to see more flexibility when it comes to handling totems.

    Totems only benefits members in your group and not the raidgroup.

    Totems got buffed yes, but there are still many totems that are too situational and thus rarely used. In addition the health and mana regenerating totems are still too weak due to their very slow regeneration rates.

    Several totems are fairly used and have not received any update: Sentry Totem, Windwall Totem, Stoneskin Totem, Stoneclaw Totem and Healing Stream Totem.

    Still no real aggro management skills.

    Need better mana regeneration options in combat

    Many Shaman players feel like Windfury was nerfed without giving anything in return.

    Many Shaman players are disappointed by the fact that they have to spend talent points in order to use two handed weapons.

    Itemization seems to primarily favor the healing specced Shaman.

    Chain Heal cannot be improved.

    Lightning Shield still cannot cause critical hits.

    The “Anticipation” and “Toughness” talents are by many shamans seen as talents which would be useful for warriors (tanks) instead of shamans. (Suggestions below on how to improve these abilities).

    Enhancement skills are still hard to control and rely extremely on procs.

    Suggestions

    Make manatide trainable and replace it with another talent (suggestion for another talent below)

    Grace of the Earthmother
    1/1
    Requires 30 points in restoration talents

    300 mana
    Instant cast 3 minute cooldown
    Imbues the target with the Grace of the Earthmother. The next 3 sources of damage dealt to the target have its damage reduced by 50%. Lasts 30 seconds.


    Make new totems available at level 60 that can benefit an entire raidgroup instead of just a 5 man group, but in return limit the Shaman so he can only cast one raid totem.

    Make some totems removable/movable in order to allow for better agro control and maybe even add more options when fighting mobile enemies. In addition there could be a talent that allows the totems to stay after the death of the Shaman.

    Increase range of effect of totems

    Improve the user interface to make totem management easier.

    Create a fire totem which reduces any damage done to the group by X%

    Create a fire totem which increases aggro done by group by X%

    Create a fire totem which increases spelldamage by X

    Create a fire totem which increases defense skill/armor by X

    Make a Talent which allows 100% mana regeneration during placing totems

    Redo the enhancement tree. Give the Shaman the bloodlust ability(stick to the lore) or make a new 31 point talent in this tree that gives the Shaman improved melee abilities and maybe even melee buffs for group members, thus making the enhancement tree an alternative option for raiding talent build options.

    Allow the Shaman to train 2 handed weapons at the weapons trainer like other classes.

    Parry as 11 points talent

    Effect of Strength of Earth and Grace of Air totems should be related to shaman’s strength and agility. A similar popular idea is to make these totems relate to others player’s stats as well. An Example is to provide percentage bonuses instead of fixed stats. Ex: 15 % agility bonus or 15 % strength bonus in order to follow damage and itemization scaling.

    The totems of the different races all look the same. Player would like diversity here, so please make different looks for totems depending on what race you play.

    Increasing Ancestral Knowledge to 10%

    Toughness as 3/3 talent granting armor bonus by 5/10/15%

    Change anticipation to increase hitpoints by 2/4/6/8/10%: Many players would like adding increased hit points on the resistance talent.

    +Hit/Spellhit talent should be placed in enhancement tree

    Create talent to increase proc chance of Windfury by 2/5% or giving rockbiter weapon a 2/5% chance to stun target

    Create talent which allows mana regeneration while casting
