Since you're so unlucky not to understand Dutch (but even 3-year old Dutch children can understand Dutch! ) I'll elaborate on the answer:
That would depend upon your available hardware. If your mind is as blank as your question I'd say "It should normally work". However, you'll need appropriate hardware.
Under normal circumstances I'd advise you to get an ethernet modem as opposed to a USB modem. Then add a decent, potentially wireless, router to that ethernet modem. Now if your Xbox won't be anywhere near the router you would also have a to buy a wireless client, so called wireless ethernet bridge, to be used as a networking device for the Xbox.
The cheapest solution:
USB modem, connect to USB port of PC, add ethernet card in the PC, connect Xbox to PC using crossover ethernet cable, configure internet connection sharing on the PC and voila, you're done. You'll soon figure out that most of the times ICS sucks like a aped ape.
The (imho) best solution:
Ethernet modem, connect modem to a wireless router, install router near Xbox, connect Xbox to modem using standard ethernet cable. Connect possible computers in the house using wireless ethernet cards. I bought one yesterday in Media Markt for under 25 euro. There's no way in the world that you can get a wireless client for the Xbox for that amount of money, so your best option is to connect the Xbox using wires.
The most expensive solution:
Ethernet modem, connect to wireless-G router. Obtain wireless-g clients for all devices in your network (PCs - PCI, Laptops - PCMCIA, Xbox - wireless bridge) and spend an evening or two getting it to work. You'll be so happy with a wireless homenetwork!
Hope this helps.
