De beta van xboxlive is al een tijd bezig hoe verloopt het?Voldoet het aan de verwachtingen?Zijn er veel bugs (fouten) in xboxlive?Ik kan de antwoorden op deze vragen niet vinden.

 

nu je het zegt je hoort er niet veel over, denk dat microsoft het zo dicht mogelijk wil houden.

 

Dit mailtje hebben beta testers gister gekregen:

We've called a timeout, but play resumes September 27 at 1:00AM PDT.

You guys rule! Your Beta feedback is helping us make Xbox Live the world's greatest high-speed gaming arena. But, we're taking a timeout so we can start incorporating our Beta Testers' suggestions. So will be taking the network down for 2 days - between Wednesday, September 25 at 1:00AM PDT and Friday, September 27 at 1:00AM PDT. The outage may not take the full 48 hours, so check the beta web site for up to the minute information.

We'll be tweaking the system and implementing changes so your Live experience is even smoother. And there's no doubt that when we launch on November 15th, Xbox Live will stand alone as the only place for gamers to talk trash, play and build their legend - all at the same time.

The Xbox Live Connectivity Tester

During the outage we will be enabling a program that is included on your Xbox Live Beta Starter Kit disk that tests how Live handles various network connections. It's called the Xbox Live Connectivity Tester. We need you to run it. When you're done playing, pop the Starter Kit disk (the one in the black envelope) into your Xbox and then leave it on. The disk will launch on its own, so you can leave your console running overnight or for an hour or two. This will help us make improvements and fine tune Xbox Live.

Eurh sorry? "Enabling a program" .. "leave your console running overnight" .. "make improvements and fine tune Xbox Live" ?

Yikes, het zal dan ook wel heel eenvoudig zijn om een lijstje van alle spellen die je gespeeld hebt op te sturen in combinatie met het serial nummer (wat je al geregistreerd had vanwege die 2 gratis games + controller actie). Goh als ze dan ook nog bijhouden hoe lang je aan elk spel speelt, etc. etc.. :{

 

Hee zo had ik niet bekeken. Maar je hoeft niet eens een geregistreerde xbox te hebben, want als je eenmaal aanlogt op xbox live is je naam, adres en games bekent ... want je gaat immers on-line.. je betaald met je credit card en je hebt een gamertag + IP/MaC adres

Xbox Live: New Beta Games

Have Xbox Live but need new games to play? Microsoft has you covered as today, in their latest Xbox Live beta e-mail, the company announced that on October 8th they’ll be sending out copies of Whacked! (beta) and Moto GP Online (beta) to the address sign-ups provided with their Xbox Live kit orders. Of course, as if the initial announcement wasn’t good enough, it was also stated that the new beta games will be free.

Europe Goes LIVE!
XBox Live will be available in Europe on November 30th, a little over 3 weeks after the U.S. launch, for a "Test Drive" phase, similar to the U.S. beta testing. The European "Test Drive" kit will come packed with Online versions of MotoGP and Whacked!, most likely the same discs that will be included with the U.S. retail kit. The European retail kit will launch in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden on March 14th, and will cost €59.99£39.99
