With one member in jail and another member out of the group,
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is still going strong and got a new home
in the process. ILLHILL.com spoke with Krazie, Wish and Lazie to
see what's up with the group and their future...

"Just Vibe," your new single, Can ya tell us how this came about?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Basically, when we heard the beat it was like it reminded me of
what we have done before. The idea of going in and out like that,
that's something what we used to do all the time. So, I guess when
we started feeling that vibe, I don't know who said lets go in
and out, that idea came about and we got the going with it.
We knocked that song out in like an hour.
We had that "First of the Month" vibe that feel good vibe.

Got the album dropping, what's really good with that?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
That album is ridiculous man. We got an all-star production.
We got a couple guess appearances. It's going to be ridiculous.
To me it's going to be one of our best albums yet because we
venturing off doing what we don't usually do.
Like, doing duets with other people, because Bone don't do
guest appearances with nobody other than Pac and Biggie or
Mariah Carey. Now we branching off and the production is just
ridiculous. It's crazy because other producers are starting
to understand Bone's style because so many other artist are
doing it. So they're making songs and beats that we can get
down on. So with that collaboration it's incredible.

Bone and Interscope, How did you land a deal with them?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
We were dealing with Swizz Beatz first. Our people and Swizz
were talking. We heard that Swizz was interested in working with
us and getting back in the level we was on. He said he was a fan
and he understood the music and everything and we really hit it
off. So we said we rolling with you. So he said I'm going to get
you a deal somewhere sweet. At first we was thinking about
J Records.

Is this label change much different from Ruthless, now do you
think you're going to be here for awhile?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
I mean, we're going to be where ever the wind take us.
Where ever gone get us paid. And where ever the respect is.
So far with Interscope everything is beautiful. We been getting
everything we needed, our freedom is there to do our music.
If everything is all as well, then we going to keep rocking.

Before you got into Interscope all people can think of is
G-Unit. Now Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is in the picture, you're a
legendary group. They're sucking every group left and right to
their label. Do you think you'll be a part of this G-Unit label
one day?

Naw, man we feel Mo Thugs Records, some Thug Line records.
No disrepect, they doing they thing over there. It's all love.
Young n*ggas doing they thing in the game. We have an empire we
feel that's in ourselves. Interscope is home for helping young
cats building they sh*t up like that and that's what we expect
out of them to take our sh*t to the next level, collabos and
sh*t like that, G-Unit and Shady/Aftermath, we can collab all
day but Bone Thugs is building their own empire.

You have a long list of people you have worked with,
who inspired you the most?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
CEO's of the game, Russell Simmons', The Eazy-E's, The Jay-Z's,
The Ice Cube's, people that put their big work out here.
People who really love their craft. If an artist don't move me,
if somebody don't move me, they gotta be into the work they're
doing and making noise.

Do or Die and Bone Thugs. People talk about your pasts all
the time, will we ever see that again?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
All that stuff that was going on with Do or Die, Crucial Conflict,
it was all but young sh*t. We was young ass n*ggas. We was young
and we had the coldest flow, and we was battling anybody.
They had to be the n*ggas to step up, and contended.
It was horrible over nothing. We actually all cool.
Sh*t, we could have capitalized 10 years ago we gotta set and
do that sh*t again. I mean the south got theirs and the east got
theirs, west, and the north, we trying to set foot aside.
I mean it's time for the Midwest to take back over.

How did these young MC's hook up, with this incredible style?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
We been together for a long, long time. It's been crazy for this
whole 21 years. All our sh*t together overtime, We all grew off
each other, we all came from the same background, we all came
from Harmony, we motivated each other to do our thing.
After a while when you hang with a guy so long you're going to
eventually start to think alike. It was time that developed our
style and skills, it wasn't an overnight thing. It was different
steps. We went through every path, except Run DMC.

Out of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Who, in your opinion,
spits the fastest?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Man, to me, Flesh-N-Bone. We can't never say one of his verses
all the way through. That boy be flowing like a mothaf*cka.
Or it's always a cross between Flesh and Krazy though.
But Flesh alwasy been my favorite back in the day.

What are your future plans?
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Take over the world. (laughs) Naw, but to get everything we can
get our hands on. Everything the rappers are doing, Movies, Clothes,
Shoes, Jewlery, we trying to shut everything down.
It's like being on the block. We also getting into the politics.
We also getting into a lot of non profit organizations. You never
know we might just be running this country in the next couple of years.

The Game on one song, Will-I-Am, We did a song with Chamillionaire,
it's off the hook, we definitely doing a song with Mariah Carey.
