Hi all,
I had the opportunity to play the full version today and can confirm that an update is available to completely fix the jaggy issues
It looks like they have changed the HDR lighting as the entire game now looks brighter and it is razor. The annoying white dots and general jagginess are completely gone.
I even ran the demo again and boy what a difference, demo looked very poor and jaggy. This will truly shut the non believers up big time, and should indicate to other game devs that updates may well be required to fix certain games...................come on bizarre it is not a hardware issue.......PGR3 looks horrible right now as do others.
Bur remember, this was not Turn 10's fault at all, Microsoft changed certain video areas in the spring update and thats why the demo looked so bad.
Turn 10, THANK YOU SO MUCH...................................my dismay when I originally played the demo is no longer. it really does look the Dogs B*ll*x. I cannot wait to get the game on the 8th June.
I can assure everybody here it will go down a storm. Nurburgring is out of this world and is easily the most accurate, scaled and detailed rendition of the track ever period. They have even reproduced the undulations on the track - it will catch you out initially unless you have driven Nuremberg for real.
I will be more than happy to answer questions but bear in mind I dont have the game yet and cannot check anything specific. I promise everyone the jaggies have been removed - the only trouble i have now is that I played it on my mates xtreme machine and it was really special, it just makes waiting for the 8th June all the worse lol.
