Komt van de OS van Kinect.
Basically, what this means is the eSRAM can be far more useful, because while small it is very fast. When the hardware facilitates moving textures in and out quickly in sizes that fit on the eSRAM, it means rendering can be done far faster with less power.
They've actually been able to achieve (and have demonstrated) something that traditionally required 3gb of textures to be loaded into RAM with only 16mb. If we can assume they can achieve similar results with the full size of the eSRAM (maybe we can, maybe we can't, we'll see), this means something that would traditionally require 6gb of RAM could be achieved on the eSRAM. Which is also far, far faster than the standard RAM.
Integendeel. Dit bedoel ik. Als men weten hoe Esram in elkaar steekt dan kan het nog leuk worden.
Trouwens komt nieuwe Developers kit vrijdag uit voor de developers?
