GoW is een flagship serie voor playstation , een echte exclusive. En die GoW collection was volgens mij ook een beetje bedoeld om mensen alvast warm te maken voor GoW 3

Splinter cell is volgens mij backwards compatible en daarnaast kun je Chaos Theory (wat mij betreft verreweg het beste deel) ook al van XBLA halen

Nieuwe Epic IP:

Epic Games has been quite busy this generation with the trilogy of Gears of War titles, Unreal Tournament, Project Sword, and Shadow Complex. Though Gears of War 3 has been delayed until fall 2011 and a mysterious Gears of War announcement was postponed from the VGAs a couple weeks ago, Epic is planning to make an announcement about a new project soon.

In a interview in the latest issue of EGM, Cliff Bleszinksi shares new information about Epic's latest project and it's a new IP that shall be revealed in early 2011. Though Cliff doesn't reveal much about the title, he does mention that everyone should keep their "eyes peeled at GDC" and that Prototype's lead designer Eric Holmes is working on the project. Originally, the game was mostly Bleszinki's idea, but since taking on Holmes, the project has become more of Holmes' project as a result. With Homles at the healm, could it lead to an open-world type game or will it be something no one expects?

Cliff later goes into additional details about the new IP stating: "I believe game designers are the Stan Lees and Jack Kirbys of our day, and we're creating these universes that leave a huge impact on people. Gamers votes with their dollars and they often like established IP, but those IPs came from somewhere, right? Call of Duty was crafted by the original Medal of Honor guys. Gears of War was crafted by the original Unreal Tournament guy. I look forward to creating what's next."

GDC takes place February 28th-March 4th.

On the listing, there are no details about the game or what it contains, but it does have a release date and a price point. Set to release on February 15th, 2011, Gears of War Ultimate is priced at $29.95.

If you recall, Epic and Microsoft had a Gears of War-related announcement planned for the VGAs, but it was removed last minute. Earlier in the month, IGN also ran a rumor of a Kinect-enabled version of Gears of War. Could Gears of War Ultimate be just that? Without direction confirmation, it's pure speculation at this point, but if the release date holds true, we should hear an announcement in early 2011.

Of course, it could just be Gears of War and Gears of War 2 combo-pack with all the DLC. Is a Kinect patch incoming for Gears of War? If so, are you interested in playing Gears of War with Kinect?

Last year, Bethesda revealed a teaser trailer for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but new information will soon be made available about the game and the lid will be lifted on everything there is to know about Skyrim. In the upcoming issue of GameInformer, Bethesda reveals all-new information on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but that's not the only thing that will be revealed in the issue.

Aside from Skyrim, an all-new sequel to a mysterious game will be revealed. No information as to who is behind the game was given, but there is a slight hint made available for people to ponder over.

GameInformer editor Andrew Reiner posted on his Twitter: "In addition to Skyrim, this issue holds an unannounced sequel. Guess away!"

Now, the information is vague and leaves the door open to many possibilities, so get your mind going and think of some potential sequels. Borderlands 2, perhaps? It could be anything, but it should be something to look forward to.

Mirrors Edge 2! PoP 20082! Alan Wake 2!

According to a story on thisisxbox.com, Infinity Ward is developing a prequel based on Ghost from Modern Warfare 2.

The game will apparently lead up to the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, showing how Ghost became a main part of Task Force 141 in MW2, as told in the series of David Lapham comics on Ghost put out around the time of MW2’s release.

These events will revisit COD4 and MW2, but this time from Ghost’s perspective.

Obviously, this could be absolutely untrue in every sense.
