Wanneer komt er nou eens nieuws over een nieuwe DIRT game

Dat is een bericht van januari 2014. En ja er is een mobile game uitgekomen wow... wie zit daar nou op te wachten. Er is echt een gebrek dezer jaren aan 'goede' rally games en nee dat is WRC niet.

 

Er zijn al 2 geheime dagen gehouden (eind vorig jaar en vorige maand) waar een handjevol community members de nieuwe Dirt mochten spelen (had ook graag willen gaan, maar een reisje naar Engeland alleen om de game kort te bekijken is wat teveel van het goede) dus hij komt eraan, waarschijnlijk dit jaar nog als je al het getease op twitter geloofd.

 

Ja misschien op de E3 zien we er wat van. Heb echt zin weer in een echte rally game (dus point to point races).

Niets speciaals hoor. Doen ze wel vaker. Ook met kortingen op merchandise.

Ik ben echt zo benieuwd man wat ze met Fallout 4 gaan doen. Zo benieuwd naar de wereld en hoe groot die zal zijn.

 

Niemand mee bezig. Volgens mij zei Phil laatst nog dat ze genoeg racing franchises hebben momenteel.

Ah ok. Maar inderdaad, erg fucking nice om de E3 te beginnen met een Bethesda show waar een Fallout 4 gewoon....eigenlijk een feit zou moeten zijn. Maar ben pas blij wanneer ze die daadwerkelijk tonen ook. Een 2015 release zou de boel afmaken, maar das wishful thinking. Howel Todd howard wel heeft gezegd een tijdje terug dat de tijd tussen aankondiging en release van de nieuwe game veel korter zou zijn dan de vorige games.

Codemasters has dropped another hint that it's working on a new game in its popular rally series DiRT.

Posting on Twitter, the developer said that it was seeking a Graphics Programmer "for a DiRTy little game we've been working on", with the job ad stating that it is "expanding and looking for developers to work on the DiRT and Grid franchises".


Codemasters has yet to announce a new game in the DiRT series. However, earlier this year it was reported that the team behind an unannounced DiRT game had been "downsized" as part of a wider company restructure, with under 20 staff alleged to be working on the title.

The game was reportedly due to be revealed weeks ago with an "Early Access-style release" planned for the "middle of February", but was alleged to have been delayed after the company failed to "secure car licenses"."

Microsoft has debunked rumours suggesting that a current-gen remaster of earlier Gears of War titles is in development for Xbox One, before teasing an E3 reveal for "other exciting Gears projects".

"I love the passion, but there's no Marcus Fenix Collection," Black Tusk studio manager Rod Fergusson confirmed on Twitter. "We ARE working on other exciting Gears projects. I'll see you at E3!"

Rumours of a Gears of War Collection re-emerged yesterday after Xbox head Phil Spencer allegedly told a fan that he "can't announce" whether the title was in development, before telling them to "stay tuned".

But could Microsoft have plans to show off its first Gears of War title for Xbox One this summer? E3 begins on June 16. Microsoft has yet to confirm plans for a press conference."

GameSpot: Kojima to leave Konami after MGSV, power struggle, communications embargo

A fallout between Kojima Productions and its owning publisher, Konami, has led to senior staff at the studio being restricted access to corporate internet, emails, and phone, GameSpot understands.

Along with the restricted communications, key developers at the studio, such as Hideo Kojima, will now have limited opportunities to lend their appearance to promotions of the studio’s upcoming game, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Power struggles between Kojima Productions and Konami have led the publisher to make drastic changes, including the employee status of its Metal Gear team. Some senior staff at the studio, including Kojima, now essentially work as contractors, not permanent employees.

The extraordinary measures were revealed by a source within the studio, speaking to GameSpot on the condition of anonymity. The person explained that, once the Phantom Pain project is finished, in all likelihood the management at the studio will disband.

"After we finish MGSV, Mr. Kojima and upper management will leave Konami. They said their contract ends in December," the source claimed.

The person added: "At a team meeting, Mr Kojima explained that team have to be one and make a good game for fans."
