Am I influencing this game at all?
So ever since I've picked up FIFA14 I have had this annoying feeling that I am not in control of the game at all. It doesn't matter how hard I try, how beautiful my actions are, it just feels like the end result of the game is already pre-determined. I've had matches where I've had about three times as many shots on target compared to my opponent, yet (s)he has won 6-0 by long distance shots and just walking through my defensive players as if they are air. Meanwhile, I've had to work very, very hard to get to my shots, because it seems like EVERY loose ball ends up in their laps.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about losing. If I deserve to lose I'd be the first to acknowledge. It's also happened the other way around, where I have won games easily that I should have lost. It's happened that I win 5-0 whereas I should have been lucky to get a draw, based on the game played.
By the way, the scoring in the game is outrageous, too. I don't think I've seen a game with less than 5 goals in it - and those are low scoring games.
I'm thinking of selling the game, I've even put an ad out but it seems no one is willing to pay more than 30 bucks for it so I guess I'm stuck with it. Unless someone wants to trade it for PES...
