Word nu al een domper, waar zijn de oude tijden dus voor de GRAW serie.

Alle Ghost Recons voordat ze GRAW introduceerde,
dus t/m Summit strike.

 

Ik moet zeggen dat ik de gameplay van dit spel er ontzettend goed vind uitzien. Maar, ik zou ook liever een spel spelen als Ghost Recon 2. Dat is absoluut mijn favoriet. Met name het hele systeem van dekking zoeken en je lichaam bewegen met de richtingstoetsen is echt briljant.

 

Ik heb nog steeds de beste herinneringen aan Ghost Recon (1) voor de PC. Briljant spel, het was zijn tijd ver vooruit.

Even een schopje, want ben erg benieuwd naar deze game.
Op internet staat hij toch als Pre-order voor begin 2011. Weet iemand nu exact wanneer we deze game kunnen verwachten?

 

Damn wat lijkt me het vette shit. Nog nooit eerder GR gespeelt dus voor mij maakt het eigenlijk vrij weinig uit of het allemaal trouw blijft aan de serie of niet

 

Zeker vette game serie... Alleen is het jammer dat Ubisoft samen met de Splinter Cell en Ghost Recon serie naar de wat snellere gameplay gaat. Dit zijn net de spellen waarbij geduld en tactisch plannen gewenst is. Toch ga ik deze game ook direct halen.
Maar nu is de vraag wanneer de release datum is!
Want door het bericht van BigKabuto lijkt het 2012 pas te zijn, terwijl ik op internet alleen maar begin 2011 ontdek. Dus daar hoop ik dan ook op!

 

Hopelijk in 2011 maar dat zal dan wel in het laatste kwartaal worden.

Die lui hebben geen idee waar ze het over hebben, Ubi heeft de game uitgesteld naar 2012, wat begrijpen deze winkels daar niet van?

 

Hmmmm ok...in dat geval my bad. Maar ik zie de game niet meer komen dit jaar, Ubi weet heel goed hoeveel goeie games er komen en dan zullen ze willen wachten met deze. Tijdens E3 zal er vast weer nieuwe info over komen, maar ik zie dit geen 2011 release worden.

 

Ghost Recon news coming “today”

Ubi’s official Ghost Recon twitter has just warned that the firm’s about to drop news on the series: “You may want to stick near your computer today. We’re about to drop some information on you, Internet!” The logo on that page is Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, so don’t go changing. Future Soldier was recently pushed back into 2012.

Ubisoft has announced the development of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, a new multiplayer, third-person, cover-based tactical shooter that will be offered free-to-play online.

Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, the publisher says it "offers all the best qualities of the Ghost Recon franchise in a downloadable, dynamic, PC-based online game".

Described as "the most social, connected and customisable Ghost Recon experience yet", the game's set to enter closed beta this summer.

The game offers players the ability to choose between three different classes of Ghost, customise their weapons, deploy cutting-edge military technology and share intel with their team.

Ghost Recon Online also features a rich lobby platform for hosting social and persistent progression features. Ubisoft also will back the game with a full set of services, including regular events and game content updates, customized content based on community feedback, and live support.

The online features complement Ghost Recon Online's rich graphical environments and maps, which rival the quality of those traditionally seen only in retail games. And while the game is free for anyone to play, players also can purchase premium items and fully personalize their experience.

"Ghost Recon Online takes the best attributes of the Ghost Recon game franchise and brings them online, making the experience of being a Ghost accessible to millions of new players and fans," said Hugues Ricour, senior producer at Ubisoft. "This game was designed from the start to be a free-to-play experience. Our development teams are dedicated to making Ghost Recon Online a truly unique, top-quality online title."

Ghost Recon Online is Ubisoft's latest entrant in the online gaming market and its first shooter to be offered in a free-to-play format. "For Ubisoft, delivering games as a service means offering fans the opportunity to stay connected to their favorite gaming worlds, to participate in fan-based communities and play with millions of peers from around the world."

"The online market is an exciting new frontier for video games and for gamers," said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft.
