Heb alleen de interessante en vrij normale vragen neergezet...want sommige dingen waren gewoon noob...sorry. Erg tof over dat er geen hidden packages meer zien en wat er voor in de plaats is gekomen.
Q: How did the game perform technically?
A: Lots of detail on street level, graffiti was incredibly detailed and specific to that wall, no copy & paste. Each street feels unique. On occasion we did see some pop-up. Big draw distance, but the mountains would pop-up a bit. When you are playing it, in the middle of the action you don't really notice it.
Q: Does it run smoothly on Xbox 360 and PS3?
A: Absolutely. We played it on 360. The version we played was streaming off a debut kit, so this means it wasn;t final code, yet to be completed, i had no issues whatsoever. Very much the same as the PS3 version, didn't detect a difference.
Q: Are those graphics really on current-gen machines?
A: I think this is a testament to how good it looks, the game has been in development for a long time and this happens a lot actually with generation cycles, if you look at games that came out in the beginning of the console generation and the ones that come out at the end...the disparity between them is huge. Like Halo 3 and Halo 4.
We have seen a handful of next-gen games already, the difference between next-gen and GTA V is well....there isn't much difference in terms of graphics. GTA V is way beyond anything I've seen on next-gen consoles.
Q: Have the game mechanics from Midnight Club LA, RDR, Max Payne 3 been used effectively to make V great in all areas?
A: They have definitely learned from RDR, as for Max Payne...GTA has never been too good with the cover system, that has now really improved. You wouldn't compare it to Midnight Club, but the handling is definitely tighter, the cars feel like they are on the road, rather than floating. Big difference between sportscar and a big rig.
Q: Are stealth kills back as rumoured?
A: Not stealth kills like in SA perse, but stealth will play a bigger part in the game. because you can customize weapons with silencers. We don't know if you can truly stealth kill someone with a knife or anything.
Q: Were the phonecalls as interrupting as in IV?
A: The phone is a more integral part of the game, we used it as a tracking device in a mission.
Q: Any dogs online?
A: Everything you see in the singleplayer will be online as well.
Q: Are there cop vigilante missions?
A: We don't know and Rockstar is not commenting on it. We do know that hidden packages are no more and replaced with sidemissions..for example a murder investigation and you can be part of it. You have to listen to the radio to hear where it happened, we didn't play that stuff..but were told that's how its going to work.
Q: What are some of the weapons?
A: Pistols, automatic pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, baseball bats, golf clubs, knives, miniguns, grenadelaunchers, rocketlaunchers, sniper rfles and more.
Q: Do cars need filling up with gas?
A: No!
Q: Custom soundtracks?
A: Neither yes or no...Rockstar won't comment.
Q: Can you turn of the headlights?
A: Yes, with d-pad right..you also put the roof up and down with that button.
Q: What military vehicles did you see? Apache, jump jet or tank?
A: We didn't see an Apache, but we did see a light military helicopter with machineguns.
Q: How many different types of cars feature in the game?
A: We don't know exactly..but as they said..more cars than has ever been in any GTA and ALL completely customizeable.
Q: Controlling NIko sometimes felt like controlling a very unwieldy tank, have the controls been tightened up?
A: Definitely. Felt similar to RDR and MP3. The character has a lot more solidity to him. They are not highly acrobatic cause that would be unrealistic, but there is a fluidity to the movement. All three characters feel different too.
Q: Do the different characters feel unique or is it simply just a new skin between the three?
A: Playing as Michael felt like an older gent, he wears different clothing, hi stride is different, the way he holds himself, the way he interacts with the world is different. It's the people they interact and hang out with, you'll live in different neighborhoods in different parts of the map. They go to dinner with different people, they exist in very different social circles and that makes them feel like very different characters.
Q: Is the main story one story featuring the three characters, or three different stories interwoven? Also how complex is character switching?
A: Character switching is easy, done with the d-pad, you hold down on the d-pad and with analog stick choose a character. It is a single story involving three main protagonists, sometimes you will see it from three different perspectives. Sometimes you will be forced to play as a character, because it wants you to see that part of the story.
