FEEDBACK GEVEN IS NIET GENOEG. Als je wilt dat je stats er niet aangaan door cheaten, moet je een mailtje sturen naar bungie. Hier staat wat je moet doen, en wanneer je het mag doen.

If you encounter someone online whom you firmly believe is cheating in some way (network manipulation, hacked maps or game files, boosting, etc..) we ask that you please send a mail to h2cheats@microsoft.com. Please be sure your mail includes the following information:

- Your Gamertag
- The Gamertag(s) of the alleged cheaters
- A summary of what you witnessed or observed
- A link to the game(s) on Bungie.net

Our team will monitor these emails and investigate claims of cheating and follow-up as appropriate. Please note that due to the volume of mails we receive, you will not get a response.

- What is NOT considered a bannable offense by Bungie?

Quitting a game is not a bannable offense. Having a team-killer on your team sucks, but that's not a bannable offense either. Many people are also aware of the "super jumping" phenomenon that allows players on some maps to jump to extreme heights. We are monitoring this situation for long term impacts to game balance but we are not banning people who do this simply because it's too widespread and is something that's basically built into the map. Anyone can do this if they want to though it is difficult to pull off in many cases. We will continue to monitor the impacts this bug has on our game.

- How does the Bungie "Banhammer" actually work?

Our banning tools are complex and secret but initially we spend time scouring gameplay data for indications that someone has cheated. Once we have adequate proof, our team reviews these players and then enters them into our "Banhammer" tool. Once a player is listed in our ban list, he or she will be unable to play Halo 2 matchmaking on Xbox Live.

In general, a first-time offense will result in a 7 day ban from matchmaking. If it's a secondary offense or a serious issue, a PERMANENT ban will be issued. This means players will not be able to play any online matchmade games ever again.

Ik hoop dat het duidelijk is dat je wél iets tegen cheaten kunt doen. Als iedereen gewoon een mailtje naar bungie.net stuurt als hij het slachtoffer is van cheaten kan er iets tegen gedaan worden.

 

Ja als je dat doet heeft het waarschijnlijk meer succes dan alleen een feedback achter laten, want ik heb meerdere malen emailtjes naar bungie gestuurd, en al die cheaters zijn nu gebanned _0/

 

Gewoon iedereen bannen en het hele spel van XBL halen. Probleem opgelost kk cheaters.

Pff, tja die 2e link is inderdaad herkenbaar. Ik ben dat ook weleens tegengekomen. Jammer dat er zoveel mensen zijn die het voor anderen verpesten. Jammer dat mensen op die wijze lol kunnen beleven aan een spel. Jammer dat je toch uiteindelijk 60e + een game betaald zodat je online kan, om vervolgens dit soort shit 24/7 mee te maken.

 

Heb je een mailtje gestuurd? Het is goed dat die ene van hen die blijkbaar niet cheatte, geleaved is. Anders liep hij ook het gevaar geband te worden.

Maar van die 2de link heb ik nog nooit gezien. Overigens zijn dit niet de fimpjes die jij hebt opgenomen toch? Ik vind dat eerste filmpje heeel goed! Echt heel goed, want ze hebben gewoon volkomen gelijk

 

Je kan natuurlijk ook geen matchmaking spelen, bespaard een hoop irritatie. Ik vind Halo2 toch al niet zo'n geweldige opvolger van deel 1, maar als ik dan ook nog eens matchmaking ga spelen krijg ik neigingen om het spel doormidden te breken en nooit meer aan te raken.

Ik denk dat ik vanavond weer ga spelen, ben over de frustratie van leavers en cheaters heen. Wel zal mijn level aanzienlijk dalen denk ik mja, ik ben glukkig niet zoals de meeste anderen verliefd op dat cijfer dusja

EDIT/ Wow wat was dat voorn cheat in die filmpjes? Dat ie vliegt en snel bweegt in Warlock. Dat heb ik nog nooit gezien!

 

Het filmpje is groter dan 10 mb Hoe maak ik het kleiner het is namelijk 13 mb.

In-Game Feedback System

This alias should not be used instead of the in-game feedback system.
Any time you encounter a player who violates the Xbox Live Code of
Conduct or engages in cheating behavior, please send negative feedback
using the built in feedback system. The Xbox Live Team manages this
feedback and will take appropriate actions up to and including complete
banning from Xbox Live. More information about the Xbox Live policies
and procedures can be found at www.xbox.com. 

 

Reporting Cheaters

Before you make an allegation against another player, please make sure
you have a valid claim. Falsely reporting someone for cheating because
they whipped you in a legitimate game will only hinder our efforts to
track down actual offenders. 

 

A few examples of actions that warrant follow-up include:

 

* Manipulating the data flow/bandwidth of a client or host to give
an unfair advantage over the competition
* Playing with hacked game files or maps on Xbox Live
* Manipulating matchmaking to play specific opponents, maps or
gametypes

 

If you suspect that you have been the victim of a cheater in a game of
Halo 2 on Xbox Live, please help us with our investigations by providing
the following information:

 

* Your Gamertag
* Alleged Cheaters Gamertag(s)
* Explanation of what was encountered
* A link to the game(s) in question on Bungie.net
* Any addition information that you think will help our cause

The Bungie Team will be using our existing game data along with
Community tips to track down and deal with cheaters accordingly.  When
sufficient evidence is found, offenders will be issued a 7 day ban from
Halo 2 Matchmaking for a first time offense and a permanent ban for any
subsequent offense.  Bans will be issued based on indisputable evidence
and all decisions are final.

 

Due to the extremely high volume of mail we receive, we are unable to
respond to the emails submitted to this alias. If additional information
