Tbh, i even want them to release a patch later to change the "on the spot-lay down" keeper animation . Tho' the chance is small, but it would be good to see this changed to more "effort" on the spot saving attempt. Even if it will make the same frequency of goal as in the "on the spot-lay down" keeper animation.

Keepers stretch his arms and body fully in that one, but it is used rarely.

Im finding 50% of the goals are because of the terrible reactions from the keepers, and its a tad bit annoying then, I can see me flinging my pad out the window if they let a terrible one in , in a master league match that has some meaning"
"They should get it right, or not mention anything in terms of improvements. When a goalie is in the "zone" even when he is down he will do anything to try and get back up or throw his body at the balls direction (i know I do) in PES once he's down forget about it I can pass it all the way back outside the box and shoot it in.... (On your toes, on your toes) Not being planted 5 feet in cement, which is what these goalies are doing.
I really hope they fix this as I love PES to death, especially their ML as that is the one thing that keeps on drawing me in."

"Goalkeepers are a broken, honestly speaking. Sometimes on shots they just stand still and watch, even when the ball are quite close to them. It's a gamebreaker and it is quite obvious that the stats for keepers do not single out individuality. There are even some animations for this, saves ball bounces on the spot, looks terrible. It feels weird when they save powerful headers with world class saves and then a weak shot just roles in from a no no situation.
Konami need to adress this ASAP. This needs to be fixed for this version and not for the next. I do like the game and the feeling and I will play it a lot, but these issues need to be fixed now and the game needs a GK patch before christmas, with new animations. It will prob. not be done but the pressure needs to be put in.

I was spurs v inter and i scored a great header off the ball run and i was like im defending this tried my hardest and it was a keeper error that got inter back in the game, they are improved but not reliable will there ever be a moment again where its like im not worrid about letting in a silly goal becuase my keeper is solid and i can trust him.

"You guys always figure new stuff in this game , as i also figured out a solve for GKs issue , GKs are like other players on the pitch , but the problem that we face isn`t 100% a goalkeeper issue , but it`s about how we manage to move the keepers in the right time and the right angle , just like other players , we always think that keepers will do everything for us without even touching the pad or the controller , well , that is wrong , because i have managed the keeper and the result was better response and in time , while the opponent is closing your 18 yard as example ; try to figure where is the keeper now , and when , where the opponent might score from , then try to anticipate and predict the right timing for the save and the angle , that will do the trick and help for more saves alot , try it , Thank you .
Just normal buttons as if you control another player , just be aware that the goalkeeper is the last defensive line , so when all defenders has lost the ball and the opponent is in front of you , try to feel that you are the keeper at the moment , try to close the gap between you and the striker , try to use your hands as it can be the normal arrows on the keyboard , it always have a good result while you time when and where the striker will score besides , when and where the keeper will come from and will go to , it just need some efforts but when you master it , it will be amazing . Hope you got what i mean ."
Yes , just directions , as example i use the left arrow as the left hand of the keeper , up arrow is like when the keeper jumps up and catch the ball before a header from a striker , down arrow , will make the keeper go down and safe the ball , etc, plus of course the defending button , so the keeper can`t only move but to save as well ,
Just keep in mind that the keeper also can be moved while he is the last defensive line ( as you can feel it in the right time ) , don`t only think that keepers are out of the controlling players , or he can do the job for us , he moves as any other player , Thank you ."
