Rock Band 2 [Deel 2]

It's a well-known fact that, in most cases, Activision and Harmonix like licensing songs in bunches from bigger artists. While several huge artists have had on-disc songs followed up by DLC, a strange case of a big artist being on-disc for both franchises but never receiving anymore follow-up DLC has been Linkin Park.
The band, which was inarguably one of the top groups of the last decade was featured on Guitar Hero World Tour with "What I've Done" and Rock Band 2 with "One Step Closer". Now, however, it appears as though fans might be seeing a few more in each game. This appears to be an effort to promote their upcoming album, A Thousand Suns.
To be exact, according to a Linkin Park fansite administrator, Rock Band will be receiving a pack of 2 new and 6 old songs on September 14, while Guitar Hero will be receiving a 6-pack of new songs. The poster also claims that DJ Hero will be receiving three new songs for DLC the same day that the tracks arrive on Guitar Hero. The article also indicates that the iPhone title, "Tap Tap Revenge" will receive a Linkin Park version of their app which will include 10 tracks.
This is great news for Linkin Park fans, but it's even better news for Guitar Hero fans, as it seems as this news, combined with the news form earlier this week of Soundgarden's full album coming to the series by way of DLC, seems to indicate that the team might finally bumping it up to packs larger than three once Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is released.

Ik denk dat er volgende dinsdag wel meer liedjes worden aangekondigd, want ze willen namelijk 2000 liedjes hebben voor de release van rock band 3, en ik zie namelijk weinig maar 3 tracks uitbrengen de laatste tijd.

Maar wel in iedergeval 2 bekende liedjes die ook in Brutal Legend zitten, ik vind sommige best wel goed klinken zelfs =).

Straight from the horse’s mouth comes revelation of (some of?) next week’s DLC. The Black Keys have announced that the following tracks will be available in Rock Band next week:

Strange Times
I Got Mine
Your Touch

Looks like the Disturbed DLC hinted about coming out on 8/24 will feature three songs ALL from their new album “Asylum.” Based on a commercial airing on VH1 Classic, here are the songs that appear to be coming:

Asylum
The Animal
Another Way to Die

Weer zijn de tracks een dag eerder aangekondigd , Disturbed haal ik sowieso wel, ik zie wel met de andere trackpack,

het is wel een beetje een matige maand aan het worden, vorige maand was zeker wel goed.

Vandaag voor t eerst Rapture van Blondie gespeeld: wat een heerlijk nummer is dat toch zeg!
Morgen maar s ff zingen

Hm, album van Soundgarden. Ik ken 2 nummers van die band, maar die zijn dan ook meteen waanzinnig goed!
Black Hole Sun is natuurlijk heel bekend en een te gek nummer. Door Rockband kwam ik in aanraking met Spoonman en dat nummer is ook dik hoor!
Nogal pittig om te spelen trouwens pfff!

Snoop Dogg DLC Dropping 9/7!

Waaaaaay back in February of 2009, Harmonix made an announcement that Snoop Dogg would be coming as DLC to Rock Band. Fans of Rock Band and Snoop Dogg alike were pining for any additional details on when the date may happen that DLC from one Calvin Broadus would hit the game. Nearly 19 months later with a severe dearth of Snoop Dogg DLC, it appears the day may nearly be upon us.

Special thanks to Christian who sent me a heads up that according to a banner ad allegedly appearing on MTV sister station Palladia, an 8-song DLC pack from Snoop Dogg will be arriving as DLC on 9/7. No word yet on what those songs may be, but as soon as we find out, you know where to look!

No official word yet for Harmonix, so we’ll have to keep in the rumor category until we hear otherwise, but I’m definitely psyched if this is true!

Kan wel grappig worden, ik denk dat ik ze toch allemaal wel haal als het zo is, ookal ben ik niet zo'n fan van dit soort muziek .

Beide niks voor mij

Trouwens, morgen ook een gratis track. RBN Megamix 01. Medley van 12 RBN liedjes als promotie. Word echter gereleased via de normale store omdat het anders niet gratis kan. Dus wellicht hier ook te downloaden, en anders gewoon even UK accountje maken als je een gratis liedje wil

beautiful is natuurlijk een geweldig nummer.
Als ze nou ook What's my name en Gin & Juice erbij doen, word ik heel blij.

Wat instrumenten betreft zal t niet geweldig zijn, maar om zelf te rappen kan toch erg leuk worden.
