ze hebben de prijs omhoog gegooid!

 

Ik hoop niet dat er zo'n onmogelijke achievement in zit net als bij PGR3, ik vind wel dat je alle achievements moet kunnen halen. Niet dat je bijvoorbeeld 1e van de wereld moet zijn om die achievement te hebben.

Weet hier iemand of er toevallig ook verschillende omgevingen zijn waar je inspeelt??
Want heb tot nu toe nog maar alleen dezelfde omgevingen gezien.

Mijn gold-account is verlopen en k ben te lui om naar de winkel te gaan, en wil het misschien via internet bestellen zodat k dan misschien deze game o.a. kan gaan spelen, maar je weet nooit wanneer het binnenkomt natuurlijk.

We know you were thinking that the IGN Xbox team of Doug Perry and Jon Miller beat Rockstar at its own game, Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis, and we sincerely thank you for the love and support. But through some miracle of modern science -- or because he was playing with an unlockable character, wink-wink -- one of the Rockstar employees squeaked out a victory in a four player online tournament.


That's not to say we didn't enjoy ourselves. The more time we've given this game, the more it's given back. Now Doug and I are routinely topping 50 hits per rally, and at one point a Rockstar employee and I tallied 104 hits…for one point! Where at first we thought Table Tennis would be a simple, pick-up-and-play budget title, Doug and I are both pleasantly surprised with the challenge and depth that comes as your skills progress.



Is there a beer pong mode?
Of course, the true battle ground for Table Tennis will be online and, with the exception of a few bouts of lag and minor hiccups, our online experience was agreeable, especially when smashing ping pong balls off enemy faces.

The game modes are a bit slim, as compared to other Live-enable titles. Ranked or unranked, you have the option of an exhibition match or a timed tournament. The exhibition is your standard one-on-one action, while single-elimination timed tourneys allow for either four or eight players to engage matches that automatically end at a given time limit. In the current build, the time limit options are between 7 and 10 minutes. The good thing about these tournaments is that everyone can play at the same time, meet in the lobby at the end of the match, and then move on to the next round instead of spectating only one match at a time. By default, matches are best two games out of three, and players are rewarded points for a tie if no one is ahead in games when time runs out. While the round-robin style feature is fun, we would have also liked to see a bracket-style tournament with seedings.

There's also a Table Tennis Network, which gives you the option to watch other players compete in online Exhibition and Tournament matches on Xbox Live, which sounds about as fun as attending E3 without drinking a single Red Bull (not fun at all). Leaderboards let you keep track of your friends as well as certain Rockstar employees to whom you will one day exact revenge…

There were indeed a few cases of lag during our online matchup. The fast and furious flow of the game was never interrupted -- instead, the ball would magically return itself when opponents would not go through a hit animation. They would just stand there idle and the ball would bounce off air and return your way.

Overall, though, our online tournament was fun and the gameplay of Rockstar's simple little ping-pong game is turning out to be deeper and faster than we ever expected. Stay tuned for our full, exclusive review this Monday.

Ik ga hem toch maar halen vrijdag.. Klinkt toch wel erg fun.

Zo ga ik hem ook kopen als ik over 2,5 week terug van vakantie ben. Alleen naait de FRS je soms, door de verkoopprijs een euro of 5 boven de adviesprijs te zetten. Kom je nog op de 'normale' prijs uit..

 

Ik was wat onduidelijk, 31,49 is de prijs waarvoor ik hem heb aangeschafd.

 

Het spel kreeg een 7,8 op IGN. De gameplay is top, graphics goed alleen de SP stelt niets voor, deze game is voor de MP zeker het overwegen waard. Laat dat nu net mijn favo bezigheid zijn. Ik ga hem dus zeker halen.

 

Ik zit nog te twijfelen... Blijft +- 35 euro... En ik wil Hitman ook wel heel erg graag hebben...

 

Vooral die online tournaments zien er echt leuk uit.
Als je een paar goeie vrienden online hebt, word het pure fun \o/
