KEN vs. Dhalsim
- Make him whiff his limbs if you're out of range around 3/4 of the screen, but the yoga fire is there. You want the yoga fire to be off the screen before you proceed to move in.
- After you make him whiff, he will yoga fire to start to zone again. Walk and block this as close as you can, then focus the limb that comes after it and dash in.
- If he starts to yoga fire your focus (because yoga fire + limb after > focus), then it gives you a jumping opportunity. It's like jumping any projectile and hitting it, you should be pretty neutral when you jump it, and you can hit his 2nd yoga fire.
- If he starts to wait and anti air you, then you move in close with your pokes. Walk up low forward, f+forward, all good pokes.
- You can wait around and feel out when they like to yoga fire. When they try to zone you, people usually have a certain time they like to throw out their projectile. When you feel them out, you can jump over and punish it if you time your jump when they input their projectile.
- Don't neutral jump yoga fires here. You will get anti air'd fairly easily. Walk and blocking is the way to go as far as feeling them out, then you can apply focus dashes and jumping accordingly.
- Don't match your fireball with his yoga fire, especially if he has let it out and the yoga fire is traveling to you. The reason being is he can punish the recovery of your fireball with his limb.
- Jump around with tatsu messes with his anti airs, I'll have to test more vs his ultra+super though.
- When you focus his limb and get close, you can shoryu FADC if you have the meter which is pretty safe, throw, f+forward, low forward fireball (pushes them back a little though), or whatever.
- Kara throw is pretty good against him, his normals aren't fast at all.
- If you spot him pressing buttons on the way down from his back jumps, shoryu can clip his limb easily.
- Oh and same thing goes with jumping over the yoga fire as it is for neutral jumping. It has to be a clean jump, if the yoga fire is traveling across the screen, don't jump over it, you will get anti air'd.
- I just jab his teleports around me, and start to mix up, he was pretty much asking for me to get close .
- Once they run into the corner, contain them there. Don't be in a hurry to do damage, catch the teleports if they try to get out, watch for it. When you do this, they will start to teleport closer to mid screen. So just be patient and contain them, control your side of the screen so that he doesn't slip away.
