2. In career mode are we able to play 6 game sets? And will Grand Slams have 7 rounds?
[Francois Giuntini, PAM Creative Director]: The answer is no to both of theses questions, we wanted to make sure matches and tourneys wouldn’t last too long and decided to create this specific format for the Top Spin 3 Career Mode.

Ok, forgive me, I've been casually perusing this board for a while, watched a few vids, read a few previews, and I know there's a thread on here about the sets, but I haven't really looked into the game hugely because I knew enough that I was going to buy the game and then get into it.
But if we can't have 6 game sets and proper tournament structures in career mode I just don't see the point. I personally think it's insulting. I mean you wouldn't have a baseball game that didn't allow you to play 9 innings, or an ice hockey game that only gave you 2 periods.
What the hell is it with tennis games? Do the developers think we aren't capable of playing 6 game sets or full tourneys? One of the great things about tennis is that the scoring system is so good. This is a total joke. I mean he says he didn't want tourneys too last too long. Jeez, as if our attention spans are that bad you know? Please, let me play 6 games sets if I want. I mean people play franchises in Madden for 30 years with 15 min periods...
As far as I'm concerned there's no point in releasing the game. No point at all.
What a real shame that is.
