Synopsis

Wat gebeurt als er opeens een paddenstoelenwolk aan de horizon verschijnt? De inwoners van het stadje Jericho krijgen met dit denkbeeld te maken als er op een doodnormale middag opeens zo'n wolk aan de horizon verschijnt. Iedereen verkeert in angst, was het aanval, een test?

Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich) is voor het eerst in vijf jaar weer in Jericho. Hij is de zoon van burgemeester Johnston Green (Gerald McRaney). Ondanks dat de twee momenteel in de clinch liggen, zullen ze elkaar de komende tijd moeten verdragen, want Jericho heeft hun hulp nodig. Afgesloten van de rest van Amerika, zonder enige informatie over wat er gebeurt, moeten zij en de inwoners van Jericho zich zien te redden en dat blijkt een hele zware taak te zijn...

Episodes:

Episode 1: Pilot
After mushroom clouds appear on the horizon, fear of the unknown propels Jericho into social, psychological and physical mayhem when all communication and power is shut down. The town starts to come apart at the seams as terror, anger and confusion bring out the very worst in some residents. Jake Green, the prodigal son of the town's mayor, becomes a reluctant hero when a school bus crashes as a result of the explosion.

Episode 2: Fallout
With only an hour before the fallout from the nuclear blast in Denver hits Jericho, Jake rushes to get the townspeople inside and away from the rain so that they won’t get radiation poisoning. When Jake and the others find that the official shelter is in disrepair and unusable, they have to come up with other protection fast. Meanwhile, Emily and Bonnie are held hostage by two men posing as police officers.

Episode 3: Four Horsemen
Jake organizes a group to gather more information about the explosions after a satellite television in the local bar broadcasts an Asian news program showing the extent of the nuclear attacks. In addition to the television broadcast, Stanley, who is hospitalized for radiation poisoning, claims to have seen tanks headed toward Denver. With Jericho still cut off from communication and the people craving information, Jake recommends sending out four search parties in different directions to get a sense of what is going on outside of town. Meanwhile, when one of the inhabitants dies unexpectedly, Heather questions the cause of his death.

Episode 4: Walls of Jericho
When Jake and Heather find a stranger on the side of the road who is sick and disfigured from radiation poisoning, they must decide whether to help him and risk contamination or do nothing and allow him to die. After they decide to help the stranger and take him to the hospital, Jake and Hawkins sit vigil in hopes that he will be able to give them information about what's going on outside of Jericho. Meanwhile, when the generator at the hospital is low on gas and supplies in town begin to dwindle, the police must ask disgruntled and panicked townspeople to siphon gas from their cars.


Episode 5: Federal Response
The people of Jericho receive a pre-recorded phone call from Homeland Security telling them that help is on the way. The townspeople start to think that life might be returning to normal when the power and phones return. Their hope is dashed, however, after the power surges and electrical lines go down, causing fires to break out all over town. While, when Jake and Hawkins work together to fight the fires, they discover that neither one of them is who they claim to be. Meanwhile, still desperate for information, the townspeople vigilantly watch the satellite television in Mary's bar with the hope that another signal will come through.

WTF, neeeheeee . Ik volg al 5 verschillende series nu en deze ziet er ook wel tof uit .

Gelukkig is het vakantie bij Vanished en Prison Break (of juist niet, want kan niet wachten op de volgende episode)! Damn... *twijfelt wat te doen.

 

aaah, hier precies hetzelfde, en dit is echt niet tof, want het verhaal klinkt echt echt retecool, bij welke epi zijn ze nu?

Tof, de titel houd ik in mn hoofd.
Ik wacht dus mooi tot iig seizoen 1 eventueel 2 klaar is.

Dit soort series kan ik niet weekelijks kijken, duurt me veel te lang

Daarom heb ik nu 5 series van 24 om nog te kijken \o/

 

Ze moeten niet al die series tegelijk laten lopen, zo iets kan een mens toch niet volhouden om te volgen maarja ik ga het echt wel kijken

 

Ik volg deze serie vanaf de 1e episode en vind het een goede serie, soms is de spanning wel weg maar de grote vraag blijft wat of wie die bommen heeft gedropt.

Ik zal vandaag of morgen een thread maken van een geweldige tv serie, wedden dat je die ook vet gaat vinden

 

Wat ziet dat er extreem slecht uit zeg, die belichtingsverschillen ​

Is My Name Is Earl alweer begonnen? Vanished zal ik eens bekijken. Jericho moet ik nu ook zien... Damn.

 

Jericho is wel okay, het is geen topserie maar wel leuk vermaak, net zoals Prison Break sinds seizoen 2 is .

 

Wat is vanished precies, nog niet van gehoord, maarja, ik ben weer wel zo gek deze ook wel weer als verplichte kost te gaan zien Leuk concept dus eerste aflevering maar ff downen WHAHA

Als ik me niet vergis dan was er gisteren avond toch weer een ep en hoort 'ie vandaag online te staan? Kan helemaal niets vinden.

Wat is die neger vaag, hij heeft er iets mee te maken. Hij coordineerd de aanval van binnenuit denk ik. Wel goede serie. Echt scray gevoel, net zoals dat verhaal van australie een beetje.
