The game is better than TW1.
It is not as cinematic as Dragon Age.
It is truly open world, it is huge, and even the sidequests are entertaining and well done!
It is better than arcania and risen.
The Magic System is muuuuch fun and very motivating.
Over all its a very, very good game. Oh, the graphics are nice and they run smooth even on elder PCs!
There are a few bad things though. I myself can´t ride the horses for the handling is awkward. I heard about people without that problem, so maybe it depends.
The Interface is very consolish. But imho its okay.
Garphical bloom effects are overused.
The starting continent is in style of savannah and northern africa, a bit like egypt too. Not everyone likes that, but it´s beautifully done, and the other areas are not like africa.
In almost every aspects this game is very very good, most european magazines gave it between 85% - 95%
