Waar is GTA IV al te koop ?

Videogames made me do it! En dan springt Hirsh Balin in het gareel en doet hij alle exemplaren in de ban net voor ze op de schappen liggen en zal niemand de GTA 4 krijgen...

 

zou wel grappig zijn als iemand een vrachtwagen zou jatten om gta IV te kunnen spelen, of een winkel te overvallen,

past wel goed bij elkaar;P

Hey guys, been browsing this forum for a while prior to the big day coming, but events of last night have forced me to register just so I can post the story.

I'm obviously from Australia and I work as a police officer over here. I'm heading out to the midnight launch on Monday after work. Last night I was working a late shift whereas we were just doing some random late night patrols. We got a call from a woman closing a late night supermarket that she saw two kids around 16-18 years old in dark clothing hanging around the complex. She thought she heard them talking about drugs of some sort. We thought what the hey, we'll go and check it out. We were a good 15 misn away at the time As we were heading over there, we get another report that a security company has called us saying that the EB Games at the same complex had an alarm going off (which is, funnily enough, right next to this late night supermarket).

We get to the location (in around 3 mins- would have been longer if we were not already heading there) and see the front window has been smashed, and there were two youths attempting to break through a door located at the back of the premises (with the alarm being silent, they thought they had plenty of time). The youths didn't put up a fight, co-operated and were arrested.

But here comes the beauty of it; upon questioning them they tell us that the reason they were breaking into the premises was to steal cash, but we were sure they were trying to lift merchandise to try and sell on the streets. Problem was they didn't have any bags on their persons so it didn't seem very viable. Then we checked their mobile phones.... finding communications between them both to try and steal copies of, you guessed it, GTA4. But the funny part is it they were trying to steal and sell it; they were stealing copies for THEMSELVES...

Would have loved to say I need to take the games as evidence (one might get lost on the way...) but alas I'll be waiting til Monday Night. Needless to say, I had a good fuckin' giggle about it considering I read so many posts on here saying "we should go rob the store!" Perhaps they are GTAGaming posters...

 

Trouwens, voor de mensen die de Free Record Shop medewerkers echt gek willen maken, morgen komt de levering van GTA IV binnen.
En dan komt alleen GTA IV binnen, aangezien normaal gesproken, er op zaterdag geen levering is
Echter, de kans dat je hem daadwerkelijk mee krijgt, is minimaal, gezien wat eerder gezegd is in dit topic (Door mij en andere FRS medewerkers).

En als je de personen een beetje kent die in een FRS filliaal werken? ok niet zeker

 

Volgens mij hebben alle MediaMarkts trouwens een midnight release voor GTA4 tussen 0:00 en 01:00 of 02:00 iemand correct me op de tijden.

Althans heb tot nu toe gehoord dat elke MediaMarkt die genoemd word een Midnight Release heeft.

En als het goed is is het niet alleen voor pre-orders want ik zag niks op de pamfletten staan over pre-orders met de midnight release.

 

Dat wordt morgen dus naar de FRS.

Kan iemand dit bevestigen voor Media Markt Rotterdam Centrum?
Ik moet maandag tot 00:00 werken dus ik kan dan gelijk even langswippen.

 

Nu we toch bezig zijn ? hoe zit het met MM in heerlen ?

 

Heb mm gemaild met de vraag krijg binnen 3 dagen bericht... staat niet bij of dat alleen werkdagen zijn of alle dagen anders hoor ik het dus waarschijnlijk dinsdag dus te laat...

 

verleidelijk, maar toch maar niet zo een zin om rond 12 uur snachts bij mediamarkt bijlmer rond te hangen

 

dan kan je je geld net zo goed op straat gooien

 

Hier staat gewoon dat het embargo al is overschreden dus kom op met die game!

Klopt maar als het nou ff in nederland gebeurt kunnen we er ook daadwerkelijk iets mee.

 

Dat slaat natuurlijk nergens op! Hun hadden dezelfde regel als elk ander land!

 

Klopt maar denk je dat nederlandse winkels die boete gaan riskeren voor iets wat in australie is gebeurd... denk het niet zou ik iig niet doen. Dan moeten ze eerst bevestigd krijgen van take 2 dat ze hem mogen verkopen...

 

als hij toch al te vroeg verkocht is in australie kan het hier ook net zo goed vind ik dan dusse alle shops verkoop nu gewoon kom op zeg
