"This will be by far the hardest post i have ever writen, and it saddens me to do so, however all is not well in Masquerade.

After longer consideration things have gotten to the point where some of the leadership does not want to carry on anymore.

Many things have come in mind before the decision was made, but of that i can only tell you that i think i know how a cop feels when he carries out his duties, this guild is in all ways unappreciating and unfriendly as it can be, and by all the time i have been officer/gm the last year or so, i have tolerated alot from it and seen quite a few officers/gm(s) perish, both from tireing but also for other reasons.

To the point, as it currently is many of the core players in our guild wants to advance in raid progress, this cannot be done in masquerades currently state, it is clear that many of our members care more for they're own gains that the progress itself, and i for once will not accept it anymore, i take a stand, to move on, simply as that, the guild as it is will never progress, i could mention various other reasons, but i would rather chose not to.

This means that many will wish to leave, it might seam cowardly at first, but it is however the only comfort left atleast for my sake, this guild is my home, and its even more hard to make the decision i have thought long about, at some point my home became "infested" and it is no longer anymore a home as it is my prison.
Many of the people in the guild are in my heart and i will try my very best to keep contact, sadly others have made it hard for me, and i have actually had nights where i had to go to sleep by other means than what i think is fair when wow is "but a game"

Life goes on, for all of us, those that wish to follow another path, i wish you luck, those that follow my path, i wish you a journey that is as enjoyable that it is for me, maybe we can once again re-live WoW as it is intended to, rather than a work we come home to.

I do not know how many will leave, and i hope people will keep in mind that even if some of the core of the guild leaves, Masquerade will not be forgotten, the guild is a legend in many ways, and we have accomplished many things together, those that was there to witness this will know and will hopefully never forget the start of Masquerade.

If i had any other way to wrap the truth in so it would be less of a stab in the back, i would, but i cannot.
As it is now, this will be carried out soon, and the guild as it is will continue to be there for those that wish, i will keep leadership on Burns my alt, and will designate a person that will accept the role and are the role worth.

I will also, if permitted leave my rogue in the guild to help advance on raids, and run raids."

Best wel triest, tis toch wel de guild waar ik 9 maanden in heb gezeten.

Trouwens, bij ons is er ook weer een lekker drama bezig, een gast die al een poosje uit onze guild is kondigde vandaag zijn afscheid van ’t spel aan op ons realm forum, blijkt daarin ineens te staan dat het uit is met zijn vriendin (die wel nog bij ons in de guild zit), en dat zij 1 week na het uitmaken naar een 28-jarige Nederlander gegaan was…

Toen ik dat las begon ik me af te vragen of die Nederlander dan ook een guildie zou zijn, en even verderop in zijn post bleek inderdaad dat een guildie van me die Nederlander is ^^

Dit is al de tweede ‘’liefdes-relatie’’ waar ik van hoor die via het spel tot stand gekomen is. (ruim een half jaar geleden ook al een noorse gast uit onze guild die naar een nederlands meisje gegaan was, en later bij haar introk….)

Toch apart, ik speel dit spel zeker niet om nieuwe RL vrienden te maken, laat staan een nieuwe vriendin te vinden haha

Ik ging gister trouwens naar Molten Core en outdmgde daar gewoon iedereen.. JA je leest het goed.. Een full blue warlock die 3/4 epix guildies ownt ik stond 50k voor op de nummer 2 en dat was een rogue

Gister ook zo gelachen, er was zon mage die was erg blij met zn 2800 crit hij zo : /yell OMG I JUST CRITTED 2800!!!! en iedereen zo grats grats..

Hoor je opeens zon andere gast, I critted my wife last night for 23 cm..
IEDEREEN lach in een deuk en daarom wipeden we ook nog maar ja was het lachen wel waard LoL

 

Op de nieuwe server Vael down best blij daarover met de server zo'n 2,5 maandjes up, vandaag lootlord en firemaw downen

 

Jullie zijn niet de enige met guild probs... Reign switcht iedere week van guild

 

Wij gaan juist beter hoe meer en sneller we raiden.
MC is kut, maar BWL is soepel, en nu we nog maar 3 bosses achter liggen op de beste alliance guild wordt de drang ze in te halen alleen maar groter. Loot speelt nog steeds geen echte rol

 

Yup gebeurt wel vaker, lachen man. Ook veel mensen halen hun vriend/vriendin over om te spelen, hebben in onze raidgroup ook al 4/5 koppeltjes (waaronder de raidleader en zijn vrouw ).
En ja kan het opzich wel begrijpen, als je met elkaar samen speelt 10/16 uur per dag en dat voor zo'n jaar anderhalf jaar lang kan je ook wel irl maten/vriendin/vriend worden.

 

Daarom ben ik ook getrouwd ingame.

 

Ik doe er tenminste niet 50 days played over om van lvl 1 naar 40 te komen

 

En het kan ook wel is de andere kant opgaan :{:

Beetje lullig voor hem dat heel stormraids naar hem opzoek is.

 

Wat een mongool.

 

Sommige mensen zien WoW >>>>ECHT<<<< als hun leven, zoals die Snipfoot.. als ik hem zie ga ik hem ganke ^^

 

Leuk dat ik een account aan de horde kant heb waar ik hem constant mee in de gaten kan houden ^^

En ja ga er maar van uit dat hij in de gaten word gehouden is het niet door mij, dan doen mijn oud guildies dat wel aan de horde kant voor mij.

 

Die snipfoot is net zoals vele andere spelers te erg opgenomen in dat spel. Als je ziet hoe hij praat joh.. hij ervaart het echt zo dat hij gewoon denkt dat hij ze echt vermoord, zo opgewonden komt hij over. Echt buitengewoon ziek.
