wat ik bedoelde met dat ***??? nou om het netjes te houden gebruik ik draag deze woorden: minder fijn of bah. mijn vraag is dus of jullie het ook zo'n lelijk ding vinden en of jullie (net als ik) denken dat de controller lelijk en kansloos is. Tja ik vroeg me af een woord met **** voor stond, ik vroeg me dat toch echt even af. Want was even bezig woorden daar op aan het passen. Maar no hard feelings hoor, voortaan alleen graag wat beter een vraag stellen zodat iedereen het een beetje snap wat je vraagt, of is dat teveel gevraagd?

lol, onder het motto dat kun je niet vaak genoeg laten zien?

maar ik vermoed wel dat ze waar zijn, zo gedetaileerd als ze zijn. En anders zal het niet veel verschillen.

 

Ik vraag me af of veel mensen gebruik maken van silver xbox live, als dat er komt. Zou op zich wel goed zijn om wat mensen van xbc weg te halen denk ik.

Gelukkig gaat de technologie nog steeds vooruit en wordt het steeds goedkoper.

 

Echt vet wat fardo voor specs heeft xboxlive wordt toegangkelijker. Het silver is een soort aansporing tot gold. En gold is echt al helemaal tha bom wat je eral niet mee kan. PS3 bey bey. Die zal alleen maar games hebben en neit deze vette shit. Media center tivio en die specs van fardo *kwijlerdekwijl*

Zijn gewoon wederom gelekte specs die niet in de minste officieel zijn. Dus blijft zoals altijd afwachten.

Ze klinken in ieder geval goed, dus als het deze blijken te zijn, of iets in die trant, dan is dat héél netjes!

 

Heel erg netjes jah. Ik ga slapen mannen. Speur ze nog op het web voor meer specs. Dan kan ik ze smorgens weer lezen met mijn dagelijk bakie cornflakes

(KRT) - THE GIZMO: New products at the Home Entertainment Show.

HIGH-DEF DISCS, TODAY: While a compromise standard for high-definition DVDs is being negotiated in Japan between backers of the HD-DVD and rival Blu-Ray discs, two rogue high-def video disc formats may have a chance to sneak in the back door. Both came to light at the recent Home Entertainment Show in New York.

A Microsoft executive, Ed Bland, let on that his company's forthcoming second-generation game console - now expected to be called Xbox 360 - will deliver high-definition content using a conventional red laser pickup and the DVD-ROM discs found in current game consoles, computer drives and video disc players.

By contrast, both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray formats require finer-focusing blue lasers, as well as new breeds of higher-capacity discs.

Hewlett Packard also was at the Home Entertainment Show, showcasing high-resolution video recording on its latest generation of Media Center PCs, designed for living room use (and so re-labeled "Digital Entertainment Centers").

While recordings are limited to the content nabbed from a built-in broadcast HD tuner, users will be able to store these shows in true high-def quality on a hard-disk drive and (more curiously) in "high bit rate" form on the centers' optional DVD recorder.

Just one hour of higher resolution content can be captured by the HP system on a dual layer DVD- or DVD+ recordable disc, a throwback to the cassette capacity of the first Betamax tape recorders. But the discs will then be readable by any current DVD disc player and will "look better than the best commercial discs, especially if you have a new DVD player that upconverts the output to a 720p signal," said an HP demonstrator. The three-model line goes on sale this month for $1,500 to $2,600.

HOW X MARKS THE SPOT: To deliver high-definition images from games and videos, Xbox 360 will deploy a Microsoft-developed data-encoding scheme (or codec) called VC-1.

Extending on Windows Media 9 software (with robust copy protection that will supposedly thwart online sharing), VC-1 signal compression is very efficient. A two-hour film can be encoded in high def on a standard, dual-layer DVD, though there's then no room left over for those extras that movie disc buyers seem to love.

VC-1 is actually one of three mandatory codecs approved for use in both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray systems. And recently, Microsoft and Warner Bros. announced that they would jointly issue some movie discs at year's end in the VC-1 format, labeling them HD-DVDs, the high-def format Warner is pushing. But will these discs also be readable on red-laser-equipped Xbox 360s, due out in the same time frame, and also on current Windows XP computers loaded with Windows Media 9 software?

I'm guessing yes, on at least the first count. But Warner Bros. and Microsoft are reserving further comment until the big video game show, E3, in Los Angeles the week of May 16.

Meanwhile, Sony has long been saying that its next-generation PlayStation 3 game system will support the much higher capacity Blu-Ray format for high-def games and video playback. If the two rival HD video disc camps do make their peace and resolve to deliver a unified format (as happened on the eve of the DVD's debut), Sony may have to re-engineer its game system a little.

That could give Xbox 360 as much as a year's lead in the marketplace, relative to both PS3 and stand-alone, high-definition video disc players and recorders. But it's unlikely that other movie studios will pile on, in the interim, with many titles supporting the Microsoft alternative for watching HD movies. Another no-frills solution, D-VHS tape, has been around for several years without winning many supporters.

OTHER SHOW STOPPERS: DLP micro-display developer Texas Instruments staged a "shoot out" between a forthcoming, 71-inch Samsung 1080p DLP rear-projection television, to be priced around $6,500, and a much-heralded Sony Qualia 70-inch set that uses a rival micro-display technology (SXRD) and sells for $11,000 to $13,000 - if you can find a dealer who actually has one.

The comparative picture quality of the two TVs was this close. In one freeze-frame test pattern comparison, the DLP model showed significantly less image "ringing."

_Polk Audio unveiled the I-Sonic, the first desktop entertainment system that combines a DVD/CD player, AM/FM radio, XM satellite radio capability plus a digital HD radio section (conventional broadcasters' "free" digital radio solution). Look for it in September at $599.

_Direct-to-you electronics purveyor Outlaw Audio unwrapped a very complete A/V control center for music and home theater, the Model 990, selling for a relatively modest $1,099. A new, companion multichannel amp will follow forthwith.

_Yamaha showcased the $1,500-list, YSP-1 Digital Sound Projector, an all-in-one home theater speaker/amp solution designed to mount under your wall-hanging TV and delivering surprisingly robust surround sound from its 42 on-board micro-speakers.

_If you have at least 1,000 prized vinyl LPs in your collection, it "makes sense" to invest in the ELP Laser Turntable, suggested a demonstrator, since "to replace those discs with CD versions would cost you $15,000." Which is what this audiophile extravagance (and a "bonus" record-cleaning machine) collectively costs.

Newly imported from Japan, the device reads your old records with a series of laser beams that won't wear down the grooves like a conventional phonograph needle does. The ELP also plows through scratches, but doesn't eliminate audible pops and clicks. Details at www.audio turntable.com.

In de fase voor de openbare presentatie van de Xbox 360 komen meer en meer details over het apparaat, al dan niet expres, naar buiten. Bij Neowin.net hebben ze van het Team Xbox-forum de complete specificatie van de 360 weten te toveren, voordat deze gewist werd. Het blijkt dat er twee vormen Xbox Live gaan komen, Live Silver en Live Gold. De zilvere variant is standaard en geeft recht op het online spelen in de weekenden, een eigen profiel en een rits statistieken. De abonnee met de gouden variant kan op ieder moment spelen en heeft de toegang tot extra diensten, zoals het vinden van tegenstanders met een gelijk niveau en het downloaden van extra content voor games.

Wat de hardware betreft is veel informatie al langs gekomen. De 360 zal zijn uitgerust met 3 PowerPC-processors die ieder op 3,2GHz draaien en 1MB L2-cache meedragen. De videokaart van ATi draait op 500MHz en is uitgerust met 10MB DRAM en 48 pipelines. Het interne geheugen bestaat uit 512MB GDDR3 werkend op 700MHz. De 360 kan 4 draadloze controllers aansturen, komt met een verwijderbare harde schijf van 20GB, ondersteunt WiFi en geeft beelden weer in 16: 9, 720p en 1080i. De DVD-speler ondersteunt de DVD-R-variant; het geluid komt in surround via een 32-bit processor in 256 kanalen naar je toe.
