Xbox One will no longer be available in 21 markets at launch in November, Microsoft has confirmed. Instead, it will be available in 13 markets.
Those markets include Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand.
The remaining markets—Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland—will launch “as soon as possible in 2014.”
The reason “consists of many factors,” Microsoft said. “his includes work to localize the Xbox One dash, incorporate additional voice and languages, and build partnerships to bring apps and meaningful local content to each country.”
As an apology to those who’ve already pre-ordered a Day One edition Xbox One in the countries pushed to 2014, Microsoft is included a free packed-in game with your purchase.
