[Muziek] Metal Algemeen [Deel 5]

Ik ontving gister een pakketje, zat er The Strength / The Sound / The Songs in. Notabene in dezelfde order besteld als Beyond Hell / Above Heaven. Op de papieren stond wel gewoon Beyond Hell / Above Heaven, dat wordt weer terugsturen en lang wachten... meh. Wil luisteren.

 

Album is gewoon te vinden op de internets hoor

 

Ja, weet ik wel. Maar ik download geen muziek meer. Koop CD's, wil het verzamelen en zo mijn collectie uitbouwen. En alles wat ik op CD heb, rip ik naar m'n laptop!

 

Ah, op die manier Ik zet 'm zo nog maar eens op

 

En terecht! Ik luister nu Gov't Mule, gisteren een 3-cd van gekocht. De nieuwe, genaamd Mulennium. Het is een live opname van hun nieuwjaarsconcert 1999-2000. Echt geweldige band, de eerste cd is echt rock, de tweede is blues (met gastopreden van Little Milton) en de derde cd is van alles, met een paar geweldige covers. Simple Man, gewoon kippenvel. Was gisteren toevallig ook het laatste nummer in het café, voordat de lichten fel gingen en de muziek stopte. Ik was dronken, een beetje stil er van. En dan dat nummer, na zo'n geweldige dag (ik had heel de dag op een bluesfestival gezeten). Nu hoor ik dus Simple Man uitgevoerd door Gov't Mule. Kippenvel. Brr.

Een geweldig programma
En ik blijf toch nog CD's kopen, alleen minder

 

Tot een paar maanden terug downloadde ik alleen maar muziek, tegenwoordig koop ik een hele hoop. Play.com en cdwow hebben heel veel cd;s voor 7 euro en dat vind ik een erg mooie prijs. Ik heb namelijk geen zin om bijv 15 euri neer te leggen voor een CD. Maar als ik echt heel erg naar een album uitkijk dan download ik toch echt meteen op de eerste dag dat ie is uitgelekt. Dat heb ik ook gedaan met de cd van 36 Crazyfists, ik had hem al gepre-orderd maar als ik daar op zou wachten moest ik nog 2 weken wachten. En dat is net iets te veel van het goede xP

De cd zal ondersteund worden met een release party op 24 september in de Muziekgieterij te maastricht.

Wow, dat Bigelf is best geniaal, klinkt voor mij een beetje zoals Black Sabbath meets King Crimson .

 

Heb ze vorig jaar ook gezien, vind het echt een goede band. Kreeg dit bericht ook op Hyves inderdaad.

Nice. Briljante band inderdaad. Sinds ze één of twee jaar terug met Dream Theater en Opeth getourt hebben in Europa, zijn ze hier bekend geworden. Cheat the Gallows is een briljante cd. The Evils of Rock & Roll, Money It's Pure Evil.
