Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit Records [Deel 3]

heb geluisterd bij een vriend (die het gedownload had hahaha) , en na afloop was ik zwaar depri ........zelfs Fabolous had een betere album vorig jaar dan Mobb *Flop* Deep

 

Ik vind het wel een leuk album hoor, kan er goed naar luisteren, natuurlijk geen classic, maar mij gaat het er gewoon om dat ik een paar lekkere nummers op kan zetten. Net zoals het met de afgelopen G-unit albums, gewoon goed te luisteren, niet outstanding. Ieder zn ding hoor.

Ik ga toch even vergelijken.. Amerikaz Nightmare/The Infamous en Blood Money.. dan is AN/Infamous toch echt ff beter..

Heb nu ongeveer 3 keer het nieuwe album geluisterd, en had hetzelfde gevoel als bij Yayo's album.. wel geinig, maar zo eentje die je niet mist als je hem verwijderd..

 

Dude, The Infamous was ook een killer album. En ik ben er nog steeds enthousiast over. 50 z'n verse op Creep was ook hot.

 

Dude, Blood money is dat niet

 

Dus het is een album geworden die de koper links kan laten liggen. Had ik stiekem al verwacht aangezien de mobb nooit meer hun oude niveau hebben kunnen halen de laatste tijd.

 

Nee ik vind Prodigy echt tegenvallen. Soms is ie wel aardig, maar meestal rijmt de helft niet en klinkt gewoon lui.

Ik lees dit net, ben heter helemaal mee eens:

I hate to say it, because you were my favorite emcee in the mid-90's. You were grimy. You were street. Your verses were hardcore and real.

What happened to you? What happened to the Prodigy who spit hot lava effortlessly on undeniable classics such as Infamous and Hell on Earth, in addition to other dope or semi-dope albums, such as Murda Muzik and HNIC, respectively.

I mean, even Free Agents and Amerikkka's Nightmare were okay albums. I'll even go as far as saying that Blood Money is a solid 3 mics, if you are rating it on the Source Mic Rating system. Not today's Source. Im talking about when the Source actually meant something. However, I digress.

You're a hypocrite. On Free Agents, you were spittin about "gettin that independent cake". Now you're bending over for 50 and letting him stroke your butthole (no homo. actually, on second thought: homo). Now all of a sudden, since you're G-Unit representing, you're rapping about how you're "V.I.Pee" and how "Curtis 'Billion Dollar Budget' Jackson" made you rich. Dont you realize that he's caking off this album probably 10 times what you are? And Jigga's STILL got money stacks bigger than you and you're new-found riches combined.

See, this is really what did it for me. Your verse on "Pearly Gates". How can you say:

"Now homie, if I go to hell, and you make it to the pearly gates/ tell the bossman we got beef/ and tell his only son I'ma see him when I see him/ and when I see him, I'ma beat him like the movie"

Now I understand fully the context that this "rhyme" (note the quotes because that bullshyte doesnt come close to rhyming) is supposed to be put in. But how can someone who gets robbed for his chain semi-annually, say that he is going to beat up Jesus Christ? Prodigy, you're one echelon above a little girl right now, so until you take off your tu-tu and your tiara, I would shut my mouth if I were you. You're no thug. You're a pathetic excuse for a rapper. Seriously. Half of the stuff that you spit doesnt rhyme. Havoc is a better lyricist than you now, and thats sad when you really think about it.

And whats up with disregarding your crew? No Noyd on the album, no Ty Nitty or anyone else from Infamous Mobb. All of G-Unit, though. I guess money does change people.

You used to be one of the nicest lyricists in the game. Unfortunately, 2Pac and Jigga were both right about you.

Jep zo waar. Erg jammer dat zijn niveau zo is gedaalt. Ik hoop dat hij dit gaat lezen en deze kritiek positief gaat gebruiken.

Jep zijn niveau is zeker gedaald. Maar Havoc integendeel. Prodigy valt tegen, maar Havoc doet weer dope productions. En om de boel nog eens op te krikken heb ik een nieuwe track van Banks en 50. Cake

/Edit: Mensen, Prodigy heeft gemeld dat deze versie versie van Blood Money niet de complete is, en dat ie nog 6 track's mist! Waaronder dus die Dre Track. Hij heeft dit gezegd op Shade 45.

DJ Whoo Kid is in the Middle East this week touring with 50 Cent, but before he jetted, he made sure he left something behind for the streets. Whoo worked with Lloyd Banks on his new mixtape, but by the end of this week, a new Shady Records mixtape should be at a bootlegger near you. It's called "The Re-Up" and marks the return of Eminem.

"Em's shit is gonna be ridiculous," Whoo Kid boasted last week. "I'm gonna make so much money, I don't know why I'm going on tour. The return of the Emster and the whole Shady going hard. Everybody is on point. Obie [Trice], Stat Quo, all their artists. It's gonna be more of a hungry Shady, back to the grind. Plus me and Alchemist are putting it together, so it will be ridiculous."

Besides freestyling off familiar beats, Alchemist gave the Shady squad some new tracks to rhyme over.

"It's about what we pick to be on the mixtape," Whoo Kid added. "It will be extra songs I'll bootleg on something else later. But the fact that Em is coming back, I'm just happy to be a part of that."

In addition to the mixtapes Whoo Kid is doing with the whole Shady/ Aftermath /G-Unit umbrella — there's another Mase mixtape coming in a couple of weeks — he and Red Spyda just finished a remix of Bobby Brown's "Lying Eyes," which has not been released quite yet.

"I'm just trying to help him," Whoo Kid said of Brown. "I'm not trying to fuck with him. You know how the industry be attacking him? I'm genuinely trying to help him. I really want to kidnap him and put him in the studio for three days and do some incredible shit."

When he's done with the R&B king, Whoo Kid hopes to lock in the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. He said he'll probably get with MJ sometime in July.

Busta's Big Bang vind ik persoonlijk erg gaaf, staan zeker 8 erg dope tracks op, maar had eienlijk veel meer kunnen zijn.. Ook jammer dat Dr Dre en Eminem geen feature hebben op het album.. Wat van te voren wel wat toegezegd..

Die Eminem mixtape komt hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet komende week, maar de week er na.. Er was wat vertraging door verschillende factoren heb ik gehoord.. Maarja, ben erg benieuwd!
Komende week komt er een nieuwe 50 Cent mixtape, waar ik ook wel erg benieuwd naar ben hij spit de laatste tijd weer wat betere shit, dus het is kijken hoe hij op die mixtape over komt.. hopelijk niet met weer van die poppie bagger..

Ik had ergens de tracklist gevonden, zag er wel goed uit (ook een Proof RIP track van D12 + Eminem). Maar ik dacht dat ie al uit was, wel jammer dat ik hem nergens kon vinden want die tape moet ik echt hebben, maar mischien word ie later nog ergens gedropt.
