Het vervolg op de Kingdom Under Fire strategiereeks moet alles behalve een normale strategietitel worden. Zo is BlueSide bezig het genre te herdefinieren met een toegevoegd online component onder de titel MMOARTS; Massive Multiplayer Online Action Real-Time Strategie. Hiermee moet het mogelijk worden dat legers van online spelende gamers massaal met elkaar in gevecht raken en zo duizenden spelers in de spelwereld actief zijn. Natuurlijk zal de titel ook een single-player spelmodus bevatten, waarin de menselijke krachten en de duistere krachten tegen een nieuwe nog onbekende derde factie zullen moeten strijden. Deze single-playermodus moet dieper worden en meer uitdagingen bieden, zoals onder andere een uitgebreide en realistische manier om kastelen te belegeren.

Details were scarce but we know it's about a fracture in time. The trailer showed detailed industrial seaside locals, flashing between different time periods. In one scene a bridge would be pristine, the next instant it would be decrepit. We also saw an area of the docks looking fine before being transformed into a flooded wasteland a second later.

It was hard to gather many concrete details from the trailer but we did see a lot of explosions, crackling electricity and rippling distortions. Here's hoping players have some sort of time-displacing gun that can teleport them or their enemies between time periods. Perhaps you also need to shift time periods to solve puzzles. It's definitely an intriguing glimpse at this new first-person game.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope (スターオーシャン4, Sutā Ōshan 4?) is the next installment in the Star Ocean series for the Xbox 360. Famitsu has revealed that the battle system will now feature 4 party members, and be more team-oriented. The hero's name is Edge Maverick, while the heroine is named Reimi Saionji. The game will also feature more of a sci-fi emphasis than past titles with the ability to control your own ship. It's been said this ship is quite large, and will be able to land on at least 5 planets or other space-based destinations. One will be able to travel through the "star ocean," jumping across planets. The game will also take place a few centuries before the original Star Ocean (around S.D. 10, or approximately 2097 AD).[4]

Deze lijst is nog niet alles. Er gaan (misschien) nog andere games uitkomen waarvan gewoon té weinig bekend is. Soms zijn het alleen geruchten.
En dan doel ik op: Doom 4, Thief IV, Duke Nukem Forever, PGR5, Forza 3, een F1 game, Army of tutu, nieuwe Call of Duty, Guitar Hero V.
Ook heb ik alle jaarlijkse games er niet bij gezet. Fifa, Pes, NHL, NBA enz. enz.

Ach, van 2008 had ik naast GTA IV eigenlijk ook niets spectaculairs verwacht. Uit eindelijk blijkt GTA IV na een paar maanden gespeeld te hebben toch een grote teleurstelling te zijn, en vooral saai. Ik ben wel blij dat ik games als Fallout 3, Fable 2 en Far Cry 2 toch heb gespeeld. Games waar ik in eerste instantie niet aan had gedacht. Hoop dat 2009 ook zo vet wordt!

Dulle, zou je Skate 2 erbij kunnen zetten. Voor mij persoonlijk al een spel wat 2009 goed laat beginnen.

Ik kijk nog hoe het wordt, maar als het té onoverzichtelijk wordt haal ik de logo's weg en vervang ik die door een gewone tekst (zoals bij DiRT 2).
Screenshots zijn natuurlijk wel nodig

Enige die ik moet hebben in 2009 zijn Mafia 2 en Skate 2, en natuurlijk de content voor GTA IV. Voor de rest spreekt mij verder nog niks aan, Prototype vond ik leuk maar daar heb ik nog weinig over gehoord nadat er bekend gemaakt werd dat hij in 2009 zou komen.

Voor de rest hoop ik echt op een nieuwe Hitman en een nieuwe Bully. En als het kan Assassin's Creed 2, maar dat is nog wat te vroeg denk ik.

Vervelende van spoilers is dat ze zo lelijk zijn.

Nieuwe Bully zou echt wreed zijn. Deel 1 is zo gaaf he. Heb hem alleen nog steeds niet uitgespeeld maar heb er altijd lol aan, als ik het speel.

Na het bericht dat uitgever THQ een flink verlies heeft te verwerken sinds het afgelopen kwartaal, heeft de uitgever besloten om twee titels uit te stellen.

Na het bericht dat uitgever THQ een flink verlies heeft te verwerken sinds het afgelopen kwartaal, heeft de uitgever besloten om twee titels uit te stellen.

Red Faction: Guerrilla en Darksiders: Wrath of War waren oorspronkelijk beide gepland om voor 31 maart te verschijnen. Dat is het einde van het fiscale jaar van THQ. Nu zullen beide games dus een aantal maanden later verschijnen. Red Faction: Guerrilla verschijnt voor de Xbox 360, PS3 en pc en wordt tussen april en juni verwacht.

Darksiders: Wrath of War zal zelfs later verschijnen. THQ heeft bekend gemaakt dat deze game voor de PS3 en Xbox 360 pas tussen juli en september zal verschijnen. Uitgever THQ schat dat het bedrijf door deze verschuiving $125 miljoen misloopt in het huidige fiscale jaar.
